I'd start by looking at the diet.

Are you eating enough fiber?

Then look at your exersize routine.

Are you getting enough physical movement?

I was taught in an anatomy/ physiology class that its normal to have

mass peristalsis approx. 20 minutes after eating a meal.

My mother feels a bowel movement every couple of days is sufficient.

It took me over 50 years to get over her " potty training techniques " .

I think working a high stress job at 60+ hours a week was a major

factor in the slowness of my bowels as well.

When under stress, the sympathetic nervous system stops peristalsis.

If you're getting enough fiber in your diet, see if you're getting

enough oils. Its the oils that usually give a person the feeling of

having eaten enough.

If you're grinding your own grains just before you make the bread,

perhaps. If you're buying preground flour or baked bread from a

store, its mostly starch.

Your digestive enzyme, amylase, turns starch into sugar.

If you eat more carbohydrate (starch and sugars) than your body can

use within X amount of time, it will store it as fat.

This is a very good question.

Taking suppliments like vitamins will color one's urine as well.

As will some strongly colored foods like beets.

Normally there should be some color. Not too dark or too light.

When assessing pathologies in TCM, dark smelly urine indicates a

yang/heat pathology.

Clear urine in abundance indicates a yin/cold pathology.

People with a tendancy towards yang constitutions (not to be

confused with a yang pathology) might do better on a raw diet.

A person with a yin constitution tend to have the foods just shoot

right through them if on a raw diet (an observation I've heard from

more than a couple acupuncturists. they see the ones who have

problems).

They were either fermented, cooked in a stew or soup, or boiled (for anywhere from 30 seconds to several minutes depending on which vegetable it was) before serving cold. When they boiled vegetables if a scum or foam gathered on the surfaceof the water it was thought of as evil Ki (Qi) and skimmed off beforeserving.Looking at the recipe I can't help but wonder if an original recipefor this used burdock (gobo) instead of carrot. No matter.Penel

Vitamin B complex will make your urine yellow.

If the color is light - you are getting enough water and toxins are being flushed.. If it is dark you need more water.

you're urine should be more of a clearcolor as opposed to being dark yellow or any other color for thatmatter.???

Another

reason your urine would be a dark yellow is because of

artificial/isolated/synthetic vitamin pills. But I guess you could call that toxic

substances your body is getting rid of.

Spirulina isn’t too bad, but I’d

rather eat the wild algae that has more nutrients in

it.

Carol

From: natural game <

would

that include any Spirulina that may come in a pill

form..???
