Guest guest
This may sound dumb ~ but please explain the " seepage " problem to me. I mean, how do you know if it is a problem? Sheri
Guest guest
Hi All, I hope all of our post op members are doing well. I will be seeing my surgeon on Jan 13th & then he will set the dates for the 2 surgeries...........I believe he is usually booked up for 2-3 mts in advance. , I have had Flat Back since the end of 99 & I when I saw my 1st Revision Specalist I was 10 cm out of plumb, it stayed that way for quite a while & the last year has really accelerated everything, On Aug 9th at my surgeons I was now 19cm out of plumb & starting to have very bad pain in my hips & knees & it is from walking around looking like a side ways L for 5 years.....my body just cannot compensate anymore. If I try to walk more than a half of a small block I am in tears . I have been going swimming best thing as your body does not have to deal with gravity. Boy it is late & I am really tired I will talk to you again another time, take care & I hope you get some help for your pain. Guest guest
--- Hi Diane - Thanks for your lovely reply. Yes, I am thinking that what happened to you may be happening to me. I think that I have to face reality and accept the fact that my body is way out of whack and that the downward spiral is occuring rather quickly. At this time, I am hoping and praying that I can get through this holiday season without too much pain and discomfort. I work retail and let me tell you, it isn't fun at the holidays!!! Especially for the seven days before Christmas, when I work 12 hour days on my feet. But, we'll see what happens. Last year, I was pleasantly surprised at how well I dealt with the whole thing. This year, I think will be a whole other story. Hope your holidays are filled with joy and happiness! from RI
Guest guest
Dora I work retail and my boss pays for the test, all of the CE materials and also for the recertification fees. He also pays for the Texas registration fee and the renewal fees. He also gives time to study. After that certification, I'll cut my hours back to get another position within a hospital. Guest guest
, Honestly? If Kroger had required me to sign an agreement for 3 years for reimbursement of the exam, I wouldn't have done it. Kroger required a 1 year agreement from the time you received your results, otherwise they'd take it out of your last check. Della On Sun, 13 Mar 2005 03:53:26 -0500, B. Guest guest
Donna, I also have RA. Yes, juicing greens seems to help, but everyone is different. RA is often triggered by strong emotions such as grief and anger and the person usually has a genetic predisposition. It is an imbalance (I prefer this word to " disease " ) that affects a person on all levels, physically, emotionally, energetically, etc. ANY healthy step your sister takes to improve her life will help. Each healthy step leads to another. Be supportive and encouraging of her personal journey to wisdom and healing. If she knows you are, she may be more willing to ask you for resources she can explore on her own. No one else can heal her body for her! I have stopped giving advice unless asked. RA is a great teacher, but not a particulary sympathetic teacher! What a fortunate siste to have someone who loves her so much! Hi Donna! I'm sure giving your sister a raw food lunch would be very appetizing and advantageous. What I am concerned about is that Rheumatoid Arthritis is an auto-immune disease and, in order to facilitate healing, a very strict regimen of cleansing, juicing, herbs, organic food and possibly body work would be involved. Raw food would be fine, but I don't believe it alone would bring about a cure. Dr. Schulze says curing the incurables is a full time job with 100% commitment and, from what you've said, it doesn't sound as if your sister would be interested enough to personally do what it takes. But I commend you for doing what you can. All we can do is offer suggestions and people are either open to it or not. Gloria

RA is a great teacher, but > not a > particulary sympathetic teacher! What a fortunate siste to have > someone who > loves her so much! > ====================================== The reason that strong emotions (anger, hatred, grief but not extreme happiness or enthusiasm) is because everything we do, all actions including thinking and expressing emotions creates an acidic condition within the body. All bodily functions create acid. This is one of the reasons why eating an alkaline diet is so important. You have to neutralize all that acidity. This is why eating a natural raw food diet will assist one greatly in overcoming RA. Cut out any mucus forming foods and eat lots of juicy fruits (this includes cucumbers, and other biologically classified fruits), alkalinzing fruits (bananas are very alkalinizing and have lots of water in them), green leafy vegetables and drink lots of distilled or RO water. Of course, one needs to examine ones lifestyle and seek to eliminate or greatly lessen any stressors and strife. Give your body what it needs to heal itself, and it will do so. Give it what it doesn't need and you will continue on down the path of dis-ease. -- Peace be with you, Don " Quai " Eitner " Spirit sleeps in the mineral, breathes in the vegetable, dreams in the animal and wakes in man. The risk of coronary heart disease has been found to be significantly increased among those individuals who stayed on a high protein red meat diet to lose weight. While these subjects became slimmer, their cholesterol levels were high, leading to a higher rate of heart attacks. " All of these statements are false! But the food and drug industry want the public to believe these falsehoods. Studies with low-carb diets high in fat have repeatedly shown to give better cholesterol readings than low-fat diets. Plus their overall health IMPROVES. People on therapeutic diets which are extremely high in fat (90% of total calories) mostly from saturated fat and cholesterol from meat and dairy and maintain the diet for several years experience no harmful effects on the heart, no plaque buildup in the arteries, and no harmful effects whatsoever. They do get better blood sugar control, better mental function, etc. You don't hear about this because it goes against what is " politically correct " so it is never mentioned by the promoters of the low-fat, anti-cholesterol industry and their friends in the media.
