Guest guest
Hello Friends, I finally went in to get bloodwork done to test for PCOS. (only after having nightmares about miscarrying and not being able to get pregnant) They tested FSH and LH levels, fasting glucose, thyroid and cholesterol. (Im 24, almost 25 years old fyi) It turns out, that everything is normal, with the exception of my LDL (bad cholesterol) which is high. It's 153 and should be lower than 130. I also have high BP and pulserate. Being 24 and yes, overweight (but i don't think by much...) this worries me. I'm glad that the PCOS tests came back normal (although I STILL hav eyet to have a menses since Thanksgiving) but am worried about the cholesterol etc. I've also been having extreme difficulty in losing weight. Does anyone have any thoughts on steps to take for cholesterol and BP? (garlic i know) and perhaps, which of the female tonics/formulas would be best for just evening out my hormones? She wants to put me on the birth control pill, and i'd really like to see what i can do myself. Thanks much everyone. Anne
