well i dont know if this will helpyou but . open p vitamin e capsule and

squeeze the contents onthe ulcers . also change your toothpaste ...biotene

is good and you can get it almost anywhere . it is especially good for dry

mouth . by he way drymouth causes gum disease so chewing sugarless gum helps

that als biotene makes some kind of gel you can put in your mouth and they

have a rinse . i am not sure of the name but i think it is perfect balance or

something . it is on the insert that comes with the toothpaste . also

toothpast that contans sodium laural [i think ] can cause mouth sores ...love

mouth sores? They could be anything from herpes simplex, to herpes

zoster (the more serious and much more painful shingles), to

inflammation from rubbing against the teeth. What treatment will work

depends entirely on what the diagnosis is. I would highly recommend

calling the doctor and asking what the exact diagnosis is. If it is

plain sores, it is correct that folic acid will help if you are on

methotrexate or other immune suppressants- they cause mouth sores to

develop at times. However, if it is herpes simplex, you will need

oral and topical medication- as you will with the zoster or

shingles. In fact, if it is shingles it may get much much more

painful and you will be asking for pain medication before long. I am

praying for your sake that it is not. Good luck getting the doc on

the phone. ONce you do, you should be able to get some peace of mind

that you are taking the right thing for the right reason.

All my best,
