Guest guest Posted May 7, 2002 Report Share Posted May 7, 2002 I'll be 42 next week and have had the no fever flare you described. It was the initial and worst flare I've ever had. My sed rate was extremely high, no fever, Rheumy gave me Prednisone and the little bit of psoriasis I had on my scalp broke out worse covering my entire scalp and also spread over the rest of my body within 24-48 hours after starting that drug on a high dose of 60mg to wean down by 20mg every 2 weeks. Never felt so sick in my life. Then the Rheumy started me on Celebrex and MTX in a week and got even worse. I was allergic to the Celebrex and had taken aspirin for the pain.
