Oh my . . . I'm in heaven! orange/banana smoothies, tahini

milk . . . dang this stuff is sweet, filling and fulfilling! Who

needs desserts when you have tahini milk and smoothies!

Day 4 was the easiest so far. I awoke this morning feeling very

clear headed - no cloudiness at all. I remember thinking " so this is

what we are supposed to feel like. " I had to pick up some items at

the grocery store and so I got my salad in their salad bar. I felt

very lethargic after eating the salad and put it down to the fact

that there was probably refined sugar in the Italian salad dressing

they had. The only craving I had today was while I was in the

grocery store and I wanted a candy bar in the worst way, but I didn't

get one. (Phew!) For dinner I had salsa and jicama. Interesting

combination. Not distasteful . . . just different. Maybe it is the

texture that was new to me. I have never had jicama before. I'm not

sure if it was the jicama or green onion that I was fighting.

The pain in my arm is now gone . . . I still have the numbness in

that arm but at least the pain is gone - due to raw food? One can

hope! The doctor was going to give me cortisone shots in my arm

tomorrow. Hmm, I guess he'll be surprised, eh?!!

Seems everyone at the office wants to know what I am eating every day

now. No - they aren't interested in eating it. I think there are

silent bets as to how long I will eat this way and if " it works. "

Those of you who have lost weight since eating raw how long did it

take you to begin to lose weight? I saw a story recently (probably

here) where a man had lost a great deal of weight and he didn't have

any sagging skin because of the raw food eating plan. Have others

found that to be the case? I need to lose weight but I don't care if

I do or not. My goal here is to feel healthy.
