well, today I am 30 days eating 100% raw. I feel great! My sinuses

have cleared, i have a lot more energy, my skin looks wonderful

and . . . ta ta tada . . . I have lost a total of 7.88 inches!! I

tossed my bathroom scale in the dump back in 1985 so I have no idea how

much weight I have lost but I can at least see it in my face now!

I've been enjoying my salad dressings . . . basically I am making a

salad with dark greens, mushrooms, cukes, etc. and tossing in either

raisins or dried cranberries and other fruits. If I am using mango as

a fruit I blend some to use as my dressing. Sometimes I've added olive

oil but I haven't been crazy about the taste of that. Mostly I just

use a little black pepper and/or salt for seasoning. Tonight I used

the tomatoes for a dressing, adding to it about 2 tablespoons of olive

oil and italian seasonings.

Life on raw is great!

I'm so proud of you Donna!... Check the files for some dressing recipes too.

Yes, isn't it just amazing that eating raw (healthy) clears up so many things..

Thank you for the kudos Suzi!

I am surprised at how easy the transition has been - with the exception of the

gas (which has finally diminished to almost nothing) and the dizzy spells (thank

you Don for telling me to eat more! I never thought I would live long enough to

hear someone tell me that! LOL!) My only weakness seems to be cheese. I love

cheese - bleu cheese, pizza with lots of mozzarella cheese, cottage cheese with

pineapple or grapes, spaghetti bathed in parmesan cheese, grilled cheese

sandwiches, etc. . . but alas, my sinuses don't like it when I eat cheese so I

have had to forego my favorite food.

I'm attending a luncheon with a bunch of friends on Saturday and guess what the

menu consists of - yup - my all time favorite food - PIZZA - with lots and lots

of CHEESE! So, I told them I would bring a fruit salad. Now everyone wants to

know what they can bring to feed me to make sure I have enough to eat. LOL! If

they could only watch me eat now!
