Guest guest
All soap begins with lye and some type of oil. All the soap I make is made with olive oil, thereby creating a castile soap. I make all of my own household cleaning products too. If I had to rely on the commercial chemically-ladened stuff my house would never get cleaned because the fumes send me into an asthma attack. My dish detergent is Sun & Earth which is supposed to be one of the kinder to environment dish soaps. I've been making my own soaps, lotions, etc. for a number of years now. One thing I haven't mastered is shampoo. > > > Do wear rubber gloves if using a detergent though. If you wash > > your dishes with regular soap then not a problem.
