Guest guest
The other night, I was lounging on the couch reading and I was suddenly struck with a horrible, pulsing pain in my right wrist. It was like being struck by lightening, so sudden, so unexpected and so very painful. I thought about pain killers but don't have any not even OTCs. Then I remembered our discussion on water and also Dr. Batmanghelidj's book that I read a couple of years ago - " Your Body's Many Cries For Water " . Well, I figured that I was dehydrated so started drinking water. After the 3rd 8oz. glass, the really unbearable pain was gone and I was left with only residual pain kind of like someone had hit my wrist with a 2x4. I continued to drink water and before I went to bed, I had drank about 60 some ozs. When I got up in the morning, their was only a slight pain but I continued to drink water every hour and also took ST. By the afternoon, there was no pain at all. I'm a believer now!! I have always tried to drink a good amount of water everyday but now, I am keeping track of it. I don't think this was any kind of coincidence, I had just let myself become dehydrated without really realizing it. Water is Wonderful.
