I was really hesitant about bringing that one up. My son slipped on his father's waxed floor about a year and a half ago and bashed nose first into the counter. The poor kid spent the night cleaning up all the blood and never told my ex (my ex is mean and would be worried about his carpet). I had taken him to the doctor but it was so swollen and congested the doctor could not advise. Anyway now his once little nose is now a swollen crooked nose. We can't afford surgery on it. He is nasally congested alot which I never thought of before but I bet it has something to do with the injury. Any miracles out there to fix a broken nose? lol OK so this one tops the dumbest of all but thought I would ask as I really do feel badly for him as it just bothers him so. Thanks again Toni =========================== Hi Toni, At this point in time the nose is no longer broken. So there is very little that can be done with that other than a nose job. As for the nasally congestion that most likely comes from his diet. His body has way too much mucus and it cannot get rid of it so it is building up and his sinuses are where it is attempting to drain from. Use of a neti pot, dietary change, much more exercise, fresh air, sun, etc. Drinking lots of water. The body only has so many channels of elimination. The bowels, bladder, skin, lungs and sinuses. The body will use any one or all of these to try and eliminate excess toxins and mucus from the body. If any of them are plugged for whatever reason, then it is going to put a huge load on the ones that are still open. Just my dumb answer I guess. LOL ;-) Peace be with you Toni. -- Peace, love and light, Don "Quai" Eitner "Spirit sleeps in the mineral, breathes in the vegetable, dreams in the animal and wakes in man."
