Guest guest
100% fruit juice has no added sugar. But, it does have fructose, naturally. So juice should be used sparingly. As far as I know, most pediatricians are recommending that our children not be given very much juice. juices we are new to dr g's diet. are there juices out there that are not loaded with sugar? Guest guest
If you are experimenting with juices, watch out for Tropicana and other juices in cartons. I began reacting to it last year. Hello, I agree, Tropicana made me sick. I think that's stuff pasturized. Actually, last July on our mini-vacation, it's what set off my last Gb attack. Luckily I had taken along some ES and took it, thereby stopping my attack. However, organic apple juice is very good. I can only get it from the health food store. It's extremely potent and very, very good for you. I recommend R.W. Knudsen. I even use about 1/4 cup of it in my olive oil & grapefruit mix when I'm doing a cleanse. I also took Dr. Cabot's advice and started trying some pressed fresh ginger root, just a little. It helps in your cleanse fight off nausea as well as a little peppermint oil. It only takes very little peppermint oil. Like about 1 drop...whew! it's strong. As for this organic apple juice, I do highly recommend it. I know some people can't use it because the acid in the apples upsets their stomachs. Take care, Susie
Guest guest
--- My son is the same.I was wondering if someone can recommend a juice with low sugar(this is his only source of sugar and I would like to eliminate it.) or another substitute for juice.I heard of Stevia. What is it exactly? However I'm still sensing this amount of apple juice is enough to contribute to his constipation. I've seen stuff like pear juice out there, but was wondering if anyone has recommendations of a different kind of juice that may go over well. I am concerned about the sugar too, but least he only needs a splash of juice. > Thanks, > Kari > >
Guest guest
Speaking of juices, this afternoon I juiced three bunches of Parsley for teas, -after reading a post by Suz, about the benefits of Parsley juice, I knew of this, but after awhile one forgets about it. Time for a kidney cleanse..
