Guest guest
There is a woman in our area that makes seitan. It is made from washed, high gluten, wheat flour. Somehow she washes this flour and uses the gluten to shape a "turkey breast". Honest to goodness it looks, tastes, and even has the texture of turkey. We get it every year and she includes stuffing and gravy as well. My kids love it! And it doesn't give the dog gas! Shari

If anything were to be used as a bleaching agent it would most likely be hydrogen peroxide and not bleach. -- Peace be with you, Don " Quai " Eitner " Spirit sleeps in the mineral, breathes in the vegetable, dreams in the animal and wakes in man. Guest guest
I was the original poster and I too came up blank on the internet. I swear to you I had an article (on my old computer) that stated research into the big poultry farms in the south..can't think of the name, but someone that has been exposed for other doings with fowl and the way they treat their humans. Our house hasn't eaten meat/fish/poultry/shellfish in 16 years so I don't really worry about such things anymore. So sorry I brought it up. BUT if I ever run across the info, you will be the second to know! Shari
Guest guest
> > Hi Bee, this is Angie in Az. I hope and pray all is well with you and I hope you had a lovely Thanksgiving day. Do you celebrate Thanksgiving in Canada? +++Hi Angie. Thanks for asking. Yes all is well with me. Here in Canada we celebrate Thanksgiving in October. > Thank for the help you are to me You answer are the reason I can daycare my 11 month grandaughter and have the energy to do everything required to run a home and so much more. +++That's fantastic Angie! Well done! > Your answers to my questions bring me life. I remember when I first found your website, I had been praying and asking God, " you a Lord are the one that can lead me " , I was at a stand still to total healing. Boy I thought this is a really different way of eating, it did seem quite bazzar. I had tried several other things and I still couldn't find the missing link. Strange as it seemed, I thought I would give it a try. I so glad I did, You are an awesome lady to care about others that suffer with Candida like you did so many years ago. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. +++You are so welcome my dear. Your success is my reward! > I do want you to know that I have been doing this diet with some cheats but I am realizing that my healing will speed up if I don't cheat. I am having progress with family and friends as they see my progress into good health, they want to know what it is that I am doing. Some are changing a little at a time, so what you do is worth it's weight in more than gold. +++I'm so happy for you and your family and friends. > My question to you is what can I do with a turkey that is not free range. A friend gave us a turkey, the package says no msg added, gluten free. How would I prepare it or should I throw it out since it's probably loaded with sodium and hormones. If I can do something with it, would be better. +++I think it is better to get the nutrients in foods, rather than to be overly concerned about possible contaminants. Also a turkey's body detoxifies hormones, vaccines, etc. it gets just like our bodies do, so they wouldn't be in the meat. The main difference between organic or certified organic meats from animals fed their natural diet and non-organic is the amounts of nutrients are higher in them. In other words, you don't bite into a piece of meat and chomp into a hormone anyway. Meat on animal bodies isn't produced from toxins, no more than meat on our bodies are. This program does detoxify very effectively anyway. Luv, Bee
