Guest guest
Ok, sorry I misunderstood...I've seen it made all ways.. capsules (which you will have to powder all ingredients).... tea (mix all ingredients together and use a bit for tea,)... tinctures...... you can tinc all together or separate and then add them all together. But my question has more to do with actual preparation of the tea itself, a recipe, rather than a formula for tinctures or capsules. We have whole dried cedar berries. Is the tea a decoction or do you make a decoction of the berries and roots and an infusion of the herbs and put them together, and do you crush the berries first? I was hoping to get a real "tea" formula. Help? Thank you for your response.Sheila> > > Hi everyone. I wondered if anyone knows the recipe to make Dr. 's Pancreas tea > using whole cedar berries. There are several ways to go about this. You can decoct the roots for 20 minutes and then pour over the other herbs. You can also tincture it all and add the tincture to hot water too and use as a tea. I would crush the berries for the greatest extraction. Bring distilled water to a boil, then add the berries, licorice and golden seal and turn heat down and simmer for 20 - 30 minutes. Then pour this over the other herbs and allow to steep for 10 - 15 minutes. Then strain and drink. -- Peace be with you, Sheila.
