Hello

I am resending this email because I don't know if I sent it to this

group. I have read quite a bit on all your older emails and I like

what everyone is talking about here.

I am looking forward to getting to know people interested in eating

healthy and interested in a natural approach to health. I have been

almost completely vegetarian for 14 years. I stopped eating meat

when my son was born. I introduced fish and shrimp back into my diet

about 5 years later realizing I just wasn't doing a good job of

making sure I got enough protein.

I live in Northern CA with my husband and 14 yr old son and 4 dogs

( three of them are Shih Tzu's J). We bought a house on 2 & 1/3

acres and just love the fresh air and serenity here. We're still

close to shopping and work.

Since we moved here almost exactly a year ago I have been working

out of the house doing book keeping for our business. I have found

it's very quiet with them gone while I'm working and I would go to

the fridge for anything just for stimulation. I ended up gaining 10

pounds since moving here even while walking 3 times a week and

continuing yoga. I tried my old tricks of hardly eating anything for

a week and well it doesn't work anymore. I have started with Herbal

Life based on the book LA Shape Works. It has been good because it's

gotten me back on track with eating healthy and making healthy

goals. Also, I got another book called 10 Years Younger in 30 Days.

Fascinating!! The author Klaus Oberbeil does not promote low carbs,

high protein diets. He promotes healthy eating of whole foods and

cutting out sugar and white flour. He is so detailed in how the body

responds to the healthy food that he has inspired me to stay on

track.
