Guest guest
> By agricultural runoff do you include cow, chicken & pig s*$%? Eventually that stuff gets dealt with by bacteria. Though, I imagine the chemicals they feed to animals do end up in our food chain through their poop. I was reading about people raising chickens in little coops they can move around the pasture. They call them " chicken tractors " . This is a fantastic idea if you live in an area where it wouldn't be safe for the birds to run free. If you raise the chickens exclusively with what they find on their own plus organic feed or table scraps you're safe. Most chicken feed, unless you buy organic chicken feed, comes " medicated " these days. What's it " medicated " with? Arsenic. Suppliment it with " medicated " feed (or medicate the animals for what ever reason) and their poop is laiden with those extra chemicals just as the rest of their products are. > That is my biggest complaint right up there with people > who use ChemLawn because they think they need a green, > weedless lawn!! Bingo! Now multiply it by thousands of acres of corn or soy beans getting treated for " weeds " trying to share their fields. Penel
