Guest guest
Any one have a cure for nose bleeding ?I been waking up for the past week and my nose starts to bleed after I get up Is your house dry? I just met someone who had nose bleeding when they woke up. They got a humidifier for their bedroom and it stopped bleeding. I just get real stuffy with nasal congestion if I don't use the humidifier at night. Gloria
Guest guest
I believe large doses of vitamin C would stop the nose bleeds, -read it some time ago. -- In health , tvogel <tvogel1104@s...> wrote: > Any one have a cure for nose bleeding ?I been waking up for the past > week and my nose starts to bleed after I get up > Tom
Guest guest
Tom, I'm glad to see you got it looked at....5 hours!!!! ....another emergency room nightmare! And, glad you're going for more a more conclusive check....sounds like alot of bleeding...should be checked. Goldenseal(used like snuff), sheperd's purse, yarrow, stellaria (fresh leaves) all staunch bleeding. Shepherd's Purse: " Poultices of the fresh herb are applied to bleeding wounds. Compresses soaked in an infusion are placed on cuts; and a bit of the infusion can be placed on a cottonball for nosebleeds. " I keep San Qi (Tienchi) in my first aid cabinet...also excellent for staunching blood. The Chinese army used it for gunshot wounds...you can use it like snuff as well. Ice works to shrink the vessels, pinching your nose below the bridge on the fleshy part, and pressure to the glabella (between your eyebrows) are all common ways to stop bleeding.....not sure about the head between the legs trick...but I've seen it used. Maybe you found some tricks of your own. Good luck, Kit > > > Any one have a cure for nose bleeding ?I been waking up for the past > > > week and my nose starts to bleed after I get up > > > Tom > > > > > > > > > > > >
Guest guest
BTW, Tom, In case they didn't tell you at the VA, getting into a hot shower with a nosebleed is not a good idea. It can actually prolong the bleeding. The heat dilates your blood vessels and the steam up your nose does not allow the blood to get sticky, coagulate and dry up. .....now a cold shower! .....just kidding...ice on the nose will help... you might want to wrap it in a cold moist cloth first. Guest guest
> If garlic gives you a headache... you need to start > on small doses of it.. or maybe Tom is already hot enough and the garlic puts him over the edge. Look at the essential oils he gravitates to, lemon balm , lavender, bermont. The meat is heating. The milk is lubricating. I imagine a lot of that affinity is culturally learned. Tom, are you a hot passionate Mars kind of guy who doesn't think having focus is a luxury? Penel
