Guest guest
Hello flushing friends , I finally got to see the specialist today. After suffering a horrendous attack in Sept., I went to the GP. She me to a did an ultrasound (gallstones) and referred me to a specialist . I had hoped that after doing cleanses, I could convince him to give me another ultrasound for comparison. - No go. But he did suggest that I have a colonoscopy! I've had a bowel resection in 1989 and have been very gassy and somewhat frequent moving bowels ever since. Apparently, those symptoms, along with my age (oops - 49) are conditions to recommend this screening. I know that this is off topic, but does anyone know any stats or other info on colonoscopys? I really appreciate your input. Thanks, Suzanne
