It does sound logical. Has anyone discovered (and perhaps posted and I missed it) how long it takes the gallbladder to refill with bile enough to create this second mini-flush. I really like this idea and just wonder how long a person would need to wait. thanks, rachel~ " Live your dreams now. Life is not a dress rehearsal. Guest guest
Dawn, Agnes had a post yesterday about eating a fatty breakfast after the cleanse and creating a mini-second flush. The fat will cause the gb to contract once more and get out some extra stuff or stones that may be still traveling through the ducts. I've never tried this but it sounds very logical. The cleanse methods online all say to eat lightly the day after the flush but this mini-extra-flush sounds interesting. I did flush one time while in the midst of a colic attack and my gb nearly exploded, sending me into ER at 4am. So, be careful with something like that. But, if you have had a successful flush and the oil is already in the body, seems like it could help if you ate something in the morning to help the gb push more out. Good luck and let us know if you try it. Guest guest
, I think every 'body' is different depending on the condition of the liver/gallblader, the over all bodies condition, if they excersize, what they eat, etc. My gb seems to fill and empty several (maybe 4 or 5 times) times throughout the day and at night while the rest of my body is relaxed. At night, my liver and gb work harder to send bile to the digestive tract to help the food that has entered that day. Bile prepares my body while I sleep to get ready for my daily morning BM. I can actually feel when my gb is emptying and filling. I am a thin person so maybe it is more recognizable for me. I don't know about others. Also, you wouldn't need much bile for the morning-after mini-flush. The bile that has collected in the few hours before breakfast is good, but also when you eat that fatty breakfast (say around 10-12am) the gb muscles will still contract, the bile duct muscles will contract, the sphincter of oddi will open, the intestines will contract and probably the colon will do it's stuff again too. :-) All that contracting caused by the hormonal reaction to the fatty food will do extra work in moving stuff that is still traveling down the ducts and maybe even push more from the gallbladder. Just some ideas.
