Guest guest
Someone wrote me offlist about my response, so I thought maybe I should clarify to the list as well. There was actually no offense taken. I know Barry well enough to know he wouldn't discount anyone's experiences out here as insignificant. I probably shouldn't have written my note at the late hour because I think it was too abrupt. I just meant that although my experiences have been different there are still some common threads in them and we can learn from those. I learn a lot from those who have had countless experiences of intense crippling pain for hours on end, even though my attacks have rarely lasted more than 30 minutes and have only ended up seeking medical attention twice. Then again, I have a tendency to be stubborn when it comes to pain, partly because I've dealt with stuff that was worse and longer lasting than the GB stuff. So...I'm not likely to go to an ER or doctor anyway! That's just a little defect of mine, I suppose ~grin~. So anyway, - I apologize if I gave the impression I was offended by what Barry wrote. He was just sharing his own story, which is vastly different than mine. (And he knows how grateful I am that I have mine instead of his!!) What works for me doesn't work for Barry and yet there's still a lot that we have in common that keeps us communicating. That's one of the beauties of these email lists - the strength comes from the diverseness of the members, I think! Hope I cleared that up! in health, rachel~ " Whether you think you can or think you can't, you're right " - Henry Ford

I'll be sure to use bold print so there's no mistaking it! <grin> heck, how could I fight with you, Barry, you're like the brother I never had. Okay, well the 3rd brother I never had! You and I are like the Yin and Yang of flushing - total opposites and we're here to bring out the spectrum of the flushworld! And one of these days I'll catch up on my email....honest! in health, rachel~ " Whether you think you can or think you can't, you're right " - Henry Ford
Guest guest
, You know from my viewpoint that there is not bad intentions taken. You are truly one of my friends on this list and I really enjoy the off-line communications that we share together. Thanks for the clarification. I didn't want to think this was our 'first fight' or anything. haha You know that we understand each other very well and the poeple in this group may not understand what we have been talking about all along. Anyway, thanks for being a great friend. Barry. > Someone wrote me offlist about my response, so I thought maybe I should > clarify to the list as well. > > There was actually no offense taken.
