I mashed them, mixed them with olive oil and downed them No side effects. But I made sure I also ate something after. Christel
Guest guest
Hi , I think the danger can be that you could possibly get an allergic reaction to it....they have a name for something you get a really high dose of and then react to.....another words you really aren't allergic but the body had such a high dose of it that it couldn't handle it and reacted...I totally spaced here what it is called...I am very tired, long day and I just trying to get some of my email. I eat garlic daily about 3 cloves but I also take a break on occassion, like about a week....I haven't had garlic since last week and probably will have it this week-end in something for sure. I guess I would say that in a month I take a week break.....sometime I'll eat it 3-4x a week and other times 1 or 2x a week, and sometimes every day....it just depends but I do eat lots of it regularly. Now as for the burning....this will burn any germ it comes in contact with...now if you have infection it will go after it and will burn...once it clears up it won't burn anymore.....and you will smell 3x as strong when you have an infection....it's just this awful smell and I can't tell you what it is but it smells very infectious....my husband always knows when I have a sore throat or ear infection by the smell of me....I normally don't smell from the garlic...but if I get a cold or somthing then boom I smell just awful and I know I can smell it on myself....have you ever smelled a small child with strep on their breath? that is the smell ......not sure why that is either or any scientific data on that either......but my daughter has noticed it as well. One thing for sure is that it does smell stronger and more offensive when it's coming from a person with an existing infection of some sort that it is going after. Hope this helps. Does anyone know if there is such a thing as excess garlic? I mean, other than the obvious (garlic odor) and possible nausea from a lot of raw garlic, is there any actual risk involved in consuming a lot of raw garlic? I know that the allicin actually burns, which is in some ways a great attribute, but could it do any damage if there was a lot of it? I know there are others on the list who eat raw garlic on a regular basis. Would anyone be willing to share what is the most you've consumed in one day and what effects, if any, you've experienced from eating raw garlic? Conducting somewhat of an experiment over here and would be interested in any responses to any of the above questions. thanks in advance. rachel~ " The greatest risk is not taking any. Guest guest
, A friend of mine started taking garlic and olive oil everyday. He looks BEAUTIFUL!! He has the best skin I have ever seen on a man in my life! He said that people complained of him smelling like garlic for 2 weeks, then he was OK. He never gets sick and can eat anything without drama. He is an inspiration to me. By the time I met him, it had been maybe six months since he began. He didn't smell anything but wonderful to me. I am going to incorporate that into my program very soon. God bless, KJ
Guest guest
For some people it is a neurological problem. Can cause major brain fog. Also, when I took large doses, 12 cloves or so a day, it did have a negative effect on my good bacteria. Those are the only issues I am aware of. Donna ----- Original Message ----- . Guest guest
Hi Donna, I eat about 3 pounds of fresh garlic a week. Comes in a 3 pound bag from Gilroy, for just under $4. Takes time to peel, more time and muscle to crush in the olive oil. Work it is, but the rewards are well worth it. On a low protein diet, you will see roundworms a foot or longer begin to come out, especially when you put 2 or 3 caps of h2o2 in a coffee enema. Guess everybody has them, they are the most common parasite. On the bio-energetic diet garlic is anything but depressing, it makes you feel alive, joyous, and makes your intellect much more extensively active, as the transverse colon-y of mass roundworms pass out. In the past when a particularly large mass of roundworms would pass, almost instant relief, refreshing, mental quickening came. Without the large amounts of garlic smashed in olive oil in the proper dilution mixed with my potatoes so as not to burn my mouth, the large masses of worms didn't pass out. Also when I put 10 section lemon juice on this mixture, I especially notice bigger and larger numbers of roundworms passing out, as well as many threadworms. It is my belief the large numbers of parasites in the colon have a direct dampening effect, strong and powerful upon the intellect. So in this way garlic directly stimulates an active intellect, which is dependent upon a pristine pure blood stream which is impossible when the kidneys are burdened with excessive nitrogenous by products of protein metabolism. This special pristine purity is possible only when the kidneys have the lightest burdens to handle. So no program or diet can give the heightened intellectual prowess that strictest obedience to the laws of nature alone can give, the bio-energetic 10-5 program. But kidney tissue repair takes time, for the filtration precision to become active. Even sprouted legumes, have too much protein, except maybe for adolescents. Also with large amounts of toxins being produced by parasites, unless you take the coffee enemas, your blood purifying organs are overloaded. So if you can't take enough enemas often, then perhaps your need of more protein is wise, to feed your liver with substances to do its extra heavy burden of detoxifying the paratoxin rich blood from the intestines, before it enters the general circulation, as well too if you need to do heavy muscular work, but it is not needed for light exercise such as walking. (maybe I should move to Gilroy) Lenny Donna wrote: > For some people it is a neurological problem. Can cause major brain fog. I used to live in the Bay Area and Gilroy has a yearly garlic festival where they make everything you can imagine with garlic. Garlic Icecream anyone. Smile. On the depressing issue. Unfortunately most people don't have a bio energetic or even good diet and garlic can cause brain stress. Dr. Beck said he has seen people come in after eating garlic and they hooked them up to a bio feedback machine and they invariably would have wacked out brain waves. He forbids people on his protocol to do garlic. He also says that Air Force Pilots are not supposed to do garlic before flying as it impairs neuro function. Just reporting what he says, Have no hard facts to share. I do know that when I was doing several cloves at a time that I had major brain malfunction. A couple of times I felt like I was going to short circuit. Well, I actually did, but it only lasted a second or so. It was like a short disconnect and I couldn't get a word out in mid sentence. Not a good feeling. And, apparently some people are more sensitive to this than others. Russ of Sota Instruments says his wife gets totally brain fogged on garlic. It is like a poison for her. So, I guess, as with anything else out there. It is an individual thing. If you take a bunch and get brain fog or short circuits, then just stop and don't take more. Easy enough. Blessings, Donna
Guest guest
I think 3 to 5 fresh cloves daily is good, depending on size...then take a break for a week or so like Lu suggests. And Lu, I do know that " smell " of sickness. It exudes from the pores of sick people and those who are very toxic or have a bad diet. No wonder the old saying is that garlic chases away evil, it is a great antibiotic. ALSO, I think with too much garlic, it can be caustic to the digestive lining and cause it to ulcerate...with a reasonable amount as above , actually helping to cure an ulcer. I just had meat and so pressed two huge cloves with lots of juice in them and wadded them up and swallowed with a swig of my tea! No garlic taste even lingered in my mouth. I only like the taste of garlic cooked in food and use it lots, too. Cayenne and garlic make a great combo. of Dewberry Hill " People are like stain glass windows; they sparkle and shine when the sun is out, but when the darkness sets in, their true beauty is revealed only if there is alight within. " -Kubler Ross " Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.
