Guest guest
Hi Everyone! I am new on this group and I need some help. I have been suffering from cardiac-arrest like symptoms and went to my internist for a consultation. After several tests, an ultrasound showed that I have gall stones on my gall bladder. My doctor said that I am suffering from heartburn and my gall bladder is the one that is causing it. In short, he wants it to be surgically removed. The ultrasound results states that the gall bladder's wall is not thickened yet and the bile ducts are not dialated. It's like my gall bladder seems to still be healthy except for the gall stones Thanks to the Internet, I've seen several negative effects of having the gall bladder removed. I myself am not ready for the operation as well, both mentally and financially. I've also read about gall bladder cleansing by means of olive-oil and lemon. Some are also use epsom salts. I want to try that gall bladder flush route in removing my gall stones out of my system. Though, I am rather confused somewhat since I see several versions of the flush. I do hope that anyone will give me pointers or directions as to the most effective way of doing the flush. Also, I've read about a chinese herb, 'gold coin grass' that can apparently dissolve or break down the gall stones and is good before the flush. Has anyone tried this? I deeply appreciate all the help I can get in removing my gall stones. Thank you everyone for your help!

" It could be gallbladder, I have never been diagnosed with anything relating to my gallbladder as being a problem. But don't overlook " acid reflux " or more importantly hiatal hernia. At: http://www.niddk.nih.gov/health/digest/pubs/heartbrn/heartbrn.htm you will find an excellent discussion of both reflux and hiatal hernia. A few years ago I was rushed to the hospital via ambulance thinking that I was having a heart attack. This was after an evening of a heavy meal of prime rib, baked potato with sour cream, etc, and a few martinis. The problem didn't begin though until after bed time, about 1 AM. And yes, I too thought it was the end. However, after their diagnosis the symptoms ended I was sent to a GI specialist (not Army) and given tests and X-Rays and diagnosed as having a hiatal hernia. I changed my lifestyle a bit and didn't have a recurrence, - until a couple of months ago. A couple of months ago I again took an ambulance ride to a local hospital in the evening after a large meal with exactly the same symptoms. This time I hadn't had any booze - I rarely drink any more. I was held over night and ran the treadmill in the morning, and my heart is in very good shape. I have returned to my regular doctor and the conclusion of all doc's without any further tests is either acid reflux or a combination of that and my hiatal hernia. Don't know, but think that the reflux/hernia and gallbladder can have some very similar symptoms. I have stuck religiously to a low-fat Ornish type of diet since my last hospital visit and have lost over 25# since that time. It is a way that I wanted to eat anyway, but now have some motivation. (I am 6' 2 " tall and currently 211#.) I have tried the Atkins/high-protein route and lost weight on that in past years, but recently within a week or so on Atkins my uric acid levels sky rocket and I begin passing uric acid stones (produced in the kidneys) which are not only very painful, but can be dangerous as well. Will post separately on how my last gallbladder flush has related to my weight loss. It was an absolutely amazing flush. Jay
Guest guest
Hello, Your cardiac arrest-like problems sound to me like a gallbladder attack. -Tightness around chest - especially under ribs. -Thobbing pain that takes over an hour or more to stop. The whole feeling is so excruiating that it feels as if you are dying. Is that the feeling? If so, it could very well be the gallbladder. I had this feeling about 4 times before I went to the doctor and discovered that I had gallstones. After research, I discovered many other symptoms that I was experiencing that were also related to gallstones. Through this group, i have learned better diet ideas (look through the archives or in the bookmarks). I have also done about 6 flushes and feel more in control of my health. I have not had an attack since December. (touch wood) I have used Gold Coin Grass -2 bottles. After the first bottle, I had my first attack. I am presently finishing up the second bottle. I can't say if it works, but if your liver is very congested, it will need a good cleaning out. From my own feelings, the cleanse has done the most good for me. I also believe that eating certain foods that help to clean the liver or to help bile flow are also helping me. (ex. beets= good cleaner and olive oil = good for system). Maybe you are a good candidate for success with the cleansing/ diet approach due to your gallbladder still being in good condition. Yes there are many cleansing recipes. I have used the Hulda Clarc with Epsom Salts. The regular dose of Epsom Salts is too strong for my system, so I have reduced the total amount to 2 Tblsp for the total flush (1/2 Tbsp/drink) I have also found the taste to be much more palatable when I substituted pure fresh RED grapefruit juice for the liquid (instead of water). - look in the archives for more ideas. Hi (what is your name?) I can see why it might seem confusing with the different versions of the cleanse out there. Perhaps it would be helpful to know that there is no " best " way. There is, however, a best way for YOU and the only way to find out is to try them. The good news is that whichever way you try, you will be doing something positive for yourself. I did the " " version (found, among other places, on www.curezone.com). I also tried the " " version (found on www.relfe.com). I've had positive results with both and prefer the latter. Each person is different and you'll find what works best for you. keep us posted, okay? rachel~ " The problem is not that there are problems. Guest guest
Yes, Jay, in our quest for health we must look at the problem from all angles. A few symptoms may lead one to an uninformed conclusion that could be totally off the mark. The final diagnosis/conclusion may include more than one answer and can only be trusted when all the facts are known and carefully taken into consideration. ~Suzanne >> >> " Your cardiac arrest-like problems ... very well be the >>gallbladder.
