Guest guest
Dale, I have been curious about your last couple of attacks. Did they just stop completely and never come back? Or did the nature of the attacks change? Were they less severe over time? Did you go from attacks to stomach aches? What exactly happened? I have had two attacks this week. My lobelia remedy did not work, but both attacks were different than my typical attack in that they were less painful overall, at least tolerable, but still requiring pain meds. And they were shorter. They started in the stomach. They felt like I had been punched in the stomach and then over a few hours moved to the gb area. Finally stopped after taking percoset. THanks for any info. Dawn PS, two in one week seems a great improvement to me as I had seven the week before! (All but one responded to the lobelia treatment) > Well, according to my doctor I had just one large gallstone, but within nine months I had no gallstone(s), as of the time of the last ultrasound. My doctor wanted me to schedule for an operation to be done within the next two weeks after the diagnostic was completed by an MRI. >

I went to the hospital to deal with it, but, it was a liver attack instead of a gallbladder attack. This occurred because I had avoided all fats for almost two full months and my liver was being damaged because of it. I was not aware of the importance of EFAs at that time, and once I found out I had no stones, that my gallbladder looked good, as did my liver by way of an ultrasound, I then started to research about the liver and came across the liver doctor, Dr. Cabot. I sent for her book, read it in about four hours the first time, bought various oils, started taking them immediately and from that time on I have only gotten warnings of pending pain with various stages of discomfort. The pain just doesn't come on, discomfort sits near by and lets me know that my liver is in a particular location and that if I don't continue to take care of it I'm going to get a potential pain. My gallbladder hasn't been of any problem for me since that last attack, since in fact it wasn't a gallbladder attack, and was actually even more painful when from the liver. This is a problem with gallbladder and liver problems in that it's often times very difficult to make a determination as to whether the real pain is from the liver or the gallbladder. This fact can be, and is often times, attested to by the fact that some suffer with the same pain even after having a gallbladder removed. Today I enjoy a much wider variety of food, but a few years ago there were a lot of foods that I avoided even though they may have been healthy simply because they were too stimulating for the liver and the gallbladder and would cause a bit of discomfort. This was occurring even after my last gallbladder/liver attack and while I've been taking various EFAs to help my liver get better. It took quite some time before I was able to feel comfortable eating certain foods and if I was aware that I'm likely to be eating something that I will need to have extra help with digesting I take enzymes before eating, just to make sure I don't have too much discomfort. As you can discern I'm aware still that some things are likely to cause me a discomfort but at least I don't tend to worry too much now as to what I eat as long as I do it with some understanding of how to deal with the aftermath of that endeavor of momentary enjoyment. I have even eaten deep fried foods, on rare occasions now, and not suffered any consequence from that. However, this isn't an every day thing and it took quite a few years to be at that point. Plus, I don't abuse that bit of liberty. So, I guess I would have to finalize by saying the nature of the attacks changed so that I can't really call them attacks but more like discomforts. This really wasn't an easy thing to which to get to but I'm really feeling pretty successful by having done so. It doesn't mean something more can't happen as I have had, or at least was shown to have had, Hep C and that can mean other problems sometime in the future too, should I not take care of my liver as best as possible. Guest guest
Thanks Dale, Looking back, do you know if you passed the one stone or do you think it dissolved? I have a feeling that I definitely passed at least a stone with each of these last two attacks. I finally started taking 6 Beta-TCP, 6 400mg lecithin, and magnesium about a month ago. It is the one thing I try to do religiously. I am also drinking about a quart of dandelion/hydrangea tea every day. I haven't had meat in weeks and am eating very mild foods. I have cut back a little on the amount of olive oil I use. I eat grains rarely. Maybe a serving every other day. I also believe in the power of faith and prayer and I accept nothing but perfect health until Tues and even beyond that. I am hoping the ultrasound will be clear and I will continue just as I am for several months. Then I hope I will be able to have indulgences on occasion, but I plan on using a modified liver cleanse diet for the rest of my life. I never want to suffer this way again.
