Guest guest
I wish I knew the answer to your question, but I don't. If I were you, I'd ask myself the question and look high and low for the answer: " Why is my body producing so many large stones at such a rapid rate, and how can I get my body to function properly so it won't keep needing to do that " ? If your body can't get rid of the cholesterol and other things properly, it will form stones. Treat the problem. The symptom of the problem is you produce a lot of stones quickly. There is some reason your body is doing that. It's probably making up for a weakness or weaknesses in some of your other functions. If you haven't already done so, check all the links at the bottom of every post to this list. There's a great deal of info from which to start. I wish you the best, but don't hesitate to keep flushing until you find a longer term solution. EVERY day? That's an awful lot of flushing! Do you feel alright? Energy level, electrolyte levels, hydration, etc...??? Don't get so carried away with flushing that you cause other problems. Congratulations on your successes! > in the worst case scenario, how many cleanses can it take to fully clean out the liver I personally think you can keep getting stones out for weeks from one flush, and also that people probably pass stones at other times and don't realize they are doing it, though not so many as with as flush. Because of this I think it is EXTREMELY IMPORTANT to do regular bowel cleanses, especially when flushing. I like the herbal colon cleansing tablets. There is nothing unusual about them as they are just herbs. Read the labels to make sure of what you are getting. My favorite one is called " colon clenz " . Enemas are good for helping to cleanse the colon. Coffee enemas are also said to be good for helping to cleanse the liver. I have not tried them with coffee yet but am planning to do this. As part of a diet, I like Pace picante sauce or similar. Costco has it in 1/2 gallons for $4. Cayenne pepper is good too and you can add it to the salsa. Guest guest
<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<< i just finished my 48th cleanse-- doing them every night with 8 to 12 ounces of oil. i still keep getting really large stones. some the size of my big toe. in the worst case scenario, how many cleanses can it take to fully clean out the liver <<<<<<<<<<<<<<< It can take a lot of flushes to clear out the liver and gallbladder, but I'm just a bit curious as to whether you've opened up some of the ones that are as large as your large toe to see if it is green inside or waxy. I don't think taking in the amount of oil that you say you are doing is doing you as much good as you would like. Then too it must be pretty expensive if you're using a really high quality cold pressed extra virgin olive oil at around five plus dollars per eight ounces. Guest guest
This leads to the nagging question I have had all along. Are they really coming from the gallbladder. If not, then what is causing my gallbladder pain. How can you (in general, anyone) keep getting huge stones after 48 cleanses? It seems impossible. Anyone? Guest guest
no wax, just green or dark green. not expensive either, using the large tins of greek olive oil, which to my taste is the highest quality oil. $14 for 102 ounces. to answer dawn's question i dont think it is physically possible for this volume of stuff to come out of the gall bladder, so it must be coming from the liver. and to answer in advance the skeptics who say that the flush is creating the stones... my appetite has changed dramatically. i once needed to eat alot of food to stay balanced. now i only need a few bites. so it is definitely working, just not finished yet. i sort of had an intuition when i started this, that it would be alot more than a few flushes, but i had no idea i would be pushing 50 or 60. i'm doing them every night because otherwise i think i would be in a constant gall bladder attack. the old stones move up to be released immediately after the current ones are flushes. maybe because my body has been waiting many years for this and is eager to dispense with them. it is interesting that i can trace some of these symptoms back over 20 years when i first started getting joint pain in the side of my hips. i recently learned that the liver/gall bladder meridian runs down the neck, sides of arms, sides of legs, all the way down to toes. Guest guest
<Maybe it is the oil that is changing your appetite> i don't think it's the oil because i was on a high fat/low carb diet for years, and this much fat was not uncommon for me. before the flushes, olive oil would have a cleansing effect which would would cause by appetite to increase to repair damage from cleansing. now it is the opposite-- i can only guess that i am cleansing more efficiently now and therefore don't need to eat much. it feels like everything is running with more efficiency. i can't be sure until the flushes chill out. Guest guest
My sister just called me with the familiar sound of an attack. I know I have read different methods of alleviation of the attack and thought I had saved them. But I can't find them now. Can anyone help with their own experience - quick? Guest guest
i'm doing the full clark thing. 1 tblspoon epsom salt, then two hours later another then two hours later, olive oil and and grapefruit juice. i have found that it makes no difference whether i eat a no fat meal in the am or a fat meal. same results either way. i think when the stones are ready to come out they come out. everthings working ok, except there seems to be a cycle. alot of stones in 2 or 3 flushes with alot of relief and overall good feelings. then complete constipation and no stones come out for the next 2 or 3 flushes. this is what gets to me, waiting for the nex batch. one day is ok, but when i have to wait 3 or 4 days constipated and in a foul bilious mood it is quite challening to say the least. i am going to try raw juices in between these cycles and see if it helps. Guest guest
Wow Arthur. I don't know how you do it. The last cleanse I did, (#15?) I said I am never doing this again and made an appointment to see the surgeon. My ultrasound is next week, but I am going to do a cleanse before, especially since I just finished my Gold Coin Grass. I had reflexology yesterday and it was a revelation. It was so wonderful. No blockage in liver or gallbladder but explainable blockages in many other areas. (blockage = pain while the therapist is rubbing your feet) I had a completely emotional release based on some of what we talked about and the pain in my feet in those areas were gone. I was so relaxed and for the first time in weeks, my gb did not feel heavy. I felt so light, I went home and had an egg and hashbrowns in olive oil. No problem. No attack. I am going to continue eating wisely owever. I think I am coming out of a healing crisis. I am going for acupuncture today. Guest guest
very interesting dawn. what organ was the reflexologist working on? for me it is so obviously liver and gall bladder. there is no way in hell that any organ is coming out of my body before i die, so that's how i do it. plus, i don't find the cleanses all that bad. the worst for me is that they are not finished yet and i can still feel stones blocking the bile flow. i am going to try cayenne and lobelia. jon had a simple suggestion which was to eat salsa, which i think has a good amount of cayenne in it. Guest guest
I had blockages in my chest, ribs, lungs, back, kidney. I believe and think many others here do too that there can be problems in one area that correspond to another part of the body. Well, I have had a pretty stressful year struggling and grieving with the knowledge of an aunt dying of breast cancer. She passed in March. Then finding out that my grandmother (aunt's mother) also has breast cancer. My mother had breast cancer. Get the picture? The reflexologist said the lungs are the place that hold grief. I have been holding in a lot of stress, grief, fear, and probably other emotions. I don't know if I am expressing that right, but as she said it and was working those areas I had an emotional release. Twice. She said the kidneys are the place of fear. I have been fearful of cancer and gb surgery. She could not find any blockage in gb or liver. I am really looking forward to my ultrasound now. I had a wonderful veggie burger on whole wheat bread tonight with some avacado, sprouts, mustard and ketchup. It was so wonderful. So far so good, but I'll need another hour or so to know if I will be without pain. Had acupuncture today and didn't feel it was or wasn't beneficial. I would need more treatments to have an opinion on it. Guest guest
<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<< I went home and had an egg and hashbrowns in olive oil. <<<<<<<<<<<<<<< Dawn; It's next to impossible to have hashbrowns without heating an oil until it is turned to hydrogenated oil. When the olive oil reaches 250 degrees it starts to become more of a toxin than a benefit. Understanding that fact will help you a lot if you tend to cook with your oils above 250 degrees. The best method of dealing with cooking is to steam your foods but then it really isn't all that appealing in the over all picture to have to eat steamed food. But, when dealing with a liver and gallbladder problem such as we do it is far better a deal to eat steamed food with oil added afterwards. As for eating an egg that is really pretty good but that should also be steamed or poached and should also not be over cooked. Done this way it is a provider of lecithin of which will actually work with your body. In Dr. Cabots book " The Liver Cleansing Diet " she has people avoid egg yokes after the forth week and as regards frying recomends using either water or a stock to stir fry foods and then add oil after it's cooked. Guest guest
Thanks Dale, I do try to keep it at a low heat, but I don't know what temp the oil reaches. I am glad for the suggestion. The other day I actually cooked something, can't remember what now, and added the oil later. Appreciate the thoughts. That would probably explain why grieving people are often out of breath and hyperventilate. --------------------------- IRA L. JACOBSON --------------------------- mailto:laser@...
