Guest guest
There are a number of references to Vitamin B-6 helping with gallstones --- I just fell upon this when researching oxalic acid for my previous post. Again, I don't have time right now to research but here is one example: http://www.tcca.org/tcca/health/vit_b6.htm (quote: B-6 has been associated with reducing gallstones by allowing cholesterol to stay in bile solution.) Coincidentally, I read at http://www.msgmyth.com/discus and http://www.msgtruth.com which is for people sensitive to monosodium glutamate (such as myself as I posted earlier today on the topic of taurine). At these sites, it reports that MSG sensitive folks have had their symptoms reduced with extra Vitamin B-6. (I just started taking B Complex for this reason and I am glad to hear that it will help with the gallstones.) Has anyone benefited by adding/increasing Vitamin B-6? Can anyone comment on this further? Perhaps, this was already posted somewhere in a list of tips to reduce/prevent gallstones? If so, would someone please tell me where I can find the list.
