Guest guest
I can't find my papers on this right now, but I believe the answer is yes. I can't remember the name of the Dr, but he says there are allergic gallbladder attacks and that if you remove the allergens, you will not have attacks. Eggs are #1 on the list, citrus and nuts are on the list. If I find it, I'll give more detail. Sorry. Dawn Dawn, eggs used to give me fits, so for a long time I couldn't have them. Now it seems that I can tolerate them more. Susie

Eggs are #1 on the list Are allergic attacks different from a " regular " gall bladder attack? I am wondering whether they are actually caused by stones trying to pass, or is it spasms of the ducts, etc.? L. I haven't had an attack since, when I was getting 2 or 3 a week before that. Is this coincidence? It is not. You should cut out from your diet EVERYTHING that is made out of flour. Instead, eat oatmeal at morning with a little bit of flexseed oil purchased from health food stores from the refrigirator. Eggs are fine, but dairy product are not (it depends - you can always test yourself if some food triggers the attack). Big #1 NO-NO-NO is chocolate. To me it was also tomato and orange. Get your nes=ry fat from nuts (but be careful! to some people they can also create a problem) and avocado. Another good thing to use is sunseed oil and NO NO NO to butter. Hope it helps. Guest guest
, I do not know for sure. I have read limited on this, but the claim is, if you remove the offending " allergen " that you will have no more pain. Guest guest
Hi everyone Thanks for all the responses and suggestions - I seem to have stabilised for the moment, having no bad attacks, only occasional stabbing in gall bladder area. Have given up bread completely - it's worth it. I'm also following up other diet suggestions to support my liver, and will eventually work up the courage to try a flush. It's great to be able to read everyone's suggestions and experiences - there seems to be masses of support out there. Deb
