It's possibly not your GB. I have a question. What is lobelia? I've never heard of it. Take care, Susie
Guest guest
But I spent the whole day fighting nausea and vomiting. Happy to say today I am back to normal. I don't know where to go from here. Dawn Dawn, Glad you are feeling better now. Sorry that you were sick. As for as Lobelia, where do I get it from? Take care, Susie
Guest guest
Lobelia is an herb...here is a description from Nature's Sunshine's web site, they don't have a detailed description of medicinal uses for legal purposes, but maybe this will help a bit...most herbs have more benefits than are indicated in a given description: Thanks, , this sounds like something that I can get from the health food store. Take care & happy 4th of July! susie
Guest guest
Yes, Lobelia is emetic, I usually suggest one capsule if someone is taking it internally. I hardly ever use it internally these days, though it is helpful for some things, and one of the nervine, relaxing herbs. Your nausea may have partly been due to what your body was going through as well, if it was a stone stuck. Heaving causes action in the diaphram that helps to push stuck stones along. L. Lobelia is an herb...here is a description from Nature's Sunshine's web site, they don't have a detailed description of medicinal uses for legal purposes, but maybe this will help a bit...most herbs have more benefits than are indicated in a given description: Lobelia [Respiratory] herb possesses many properties that make it valuable to the respiratory system. It has the ability to work as both a stimulant (in small doses) and as a sedative (in larger doses). One of its key constituents, lobeline, acts in a way similar to nicotine and may be useful for those who wish to stop smoking. Lobelia is also rich in chromium. Each capsule of NSP Lobelia herb contains 375 mg lobelia. Lobelia Essence contains 44-47 percent alcohol, glycerin and apple cider vinegar. It can be added to baths or used in external cosmetic preparations. Take 1 capsule daily with a meal. Add essence to a bath, relaxing poultices or other external applications. L.
