Guest guest
Hi: From the book " Garlic, Nature's Original Remedy " 1991, by Fulder, PhD (biochemistry and chemical pharmacology, Oxford University) and Blackwood: P 82 " Professor Kitahara of Tokyo has indeed shown that garlic juice will trap a tenth of its own weight of lead or mercury, which are highly toxic. Professor Petkov showed that garlic can reduce the signs of chronic lead poisoning in industrial workers; over a hundred took the Bulgarian garlic preparation Satal and blood indications of heavy metal contamination were considerably reduced. In Japan, a growing awareness of industrial pollution led to some unique studies on how a garlic preparation can help remove toxins. When mercury was fed to rats, those given the preparation eliminated it two to three times faster. In the test tube, the garlic extract directly protected blood cells frm the destructive effects of meavy metals, and there is evidence that it works by helping the liver, neutralize poisons. " I find that juiced and mixed with carrot juice, it's relatively easy to ingest. Jay
