Guest guest
nd now, a non-scientific survey. I am interested in knowing what supplements any of you are taking that you feel have strongly improved your condition. I am thinking of going back to peppermint, milk thistle, and add lecithin, and magnesium. Let me know also what your physical factors. For example, I am tall, thin, fairly good diet, 35, have 6 children (I am thinking all those pregnancies have contributed) I am addressing possible emotional upsets that may have contributed as well. _______________ Hi, Dawn: Well, I can only tell you what's helped me. It really did help when I took Livatone, the stuff from Dr. Cabot. That's wonderful! I also had fresh juices in the mornings. I always start my day with a glass of water with lemon or lime in it when I first get up. Dr. Cabot says it's a great liver cleanser, and it helps get your digestive juices flowing. You might try that. For juices, I found that carrot/celery/granny smith apple/fresh ginger & garlic works good. As far as sugar causing attacks, it's different for different people. What may cause an attack for me, would not necessarily cause one in you. Dale had a problem with cabbage and pecans, I think it was. And those are healthy things. My advice would be to stay away from sugar, except your fruits. I also take Beta-TCP, but I think that I told you that. The magnesium helps. I was getting Solaray Magnesium with ammino acid Chelate or something, but this last time I got Solaray magnesium citrate in caps. I take this 3 times a day or try to. I always take it at bedtime. Magnesium is extremely important. I started taking Omega 3 Fish Oil caps just a few days ago. They are important. I take Ester C, Vit. E, B12, B1 and TMG, which is Trimethylglycine. I stay away from anything fried, from sweets, except every once in a while I might eat something, just a little bit. Hope this helps!
