< the flushes worked wonders for me but until i got my spleen back to

working, i didn't feel excellent.>

This is interesting......I have done 6 flushes so far but I am still tired

most of the time, I also did the Master Cleanse for 17 days not long ago.

I just checked the acupressure points for the spleen and mine are quite

sore, would you mind sharing what you took to help your spleen.

On one site it said Crataegus is a good herb for the Spleen.

Here is the site with the acupressure points, just scroll down till you see

the picture of the child.......

Hi Lorraine,

I just looked at the diagram and tried to find the points but I don't know

if I'm pressing at the right spots.

Where in Canada are you from ? I'm from Waterloo, Ontario.

Here's the link that will make all this make sense.

Read the article that talks about post-viral syndrome.

The herbal formula for this is " Ease the Muscles " and

" Soothe the Centre. " And Spleen 6 is the point that

should be sore on the inside of your lower leg.

Hi

I'm in northern Alberta

just press about 2 inches up from your ankle on your left leg

on the side your big toe is and then up a little past your knee on the

inside of your leg

press around and if you don't find a sore spot then I guess (not sure) that

your spleen is ok, mine really hurts in both places.

jonathan:

i would ike to know more about your experiences with cleansing of the spleen.

does it store a large amount of toxins like the liver? how does it drain? into

the colon?

it's funny that you talk about draining the spleen.

the spleen isn't really enlarged or stopped up like

the liver. the spleen according to the chinese has to

do with extracting energy from the food along with the

stomach. it's not a truly toxic organ like the liver.

certain chinese herbs help the spleen to make energy

and move fluid from the muscles where the energy is

made. there are many chinese herbal concoctions that

do this but beware, not all chinese herbs are the

same. it's very important that you get medical grade

herbs from an herbal practitioner. i found out that

any herbs you can get over the counter are very weak.

so if you have weak muscles and weak digestion, like i

did, strengthening the spleen is a must for some with

cfs. it's just part of the puzzle.
