I just completed a cleanse and a flush (my first and definitely not my last)

last Sunday. Yes, I passed out hundreds of stones or balls whatever you want to

call them. I first went on a 2 week digestive cleanse when I only ate simple

food that allowed my liver to rest...ie..no meat, no dairy, no spices, no fat,

no wheat, no sugar and definitely no coffee and tea which ended with a half day

fast before the final big bang.....salt inner body wash and olive oil.

And here I am, 3 days after my flush.....these are my post-flush thoughts: I now

think that the whole thing is really not about whether I passed out stones or

not ...or even if they were really stones or whether if they were formed in the

liver or whatever. What was so intriguing was the process. I got to observe what

my body was going through. I heard constant battles between my head and my body.

eg....my body loved the cleanse; my skin became cleaner looking and my eyes were

sparkling and meanwhile, my head was saying things like, " Boy, what I won't give

to have a big fat latte now at starbuck or GIVE Me A PIECE OF CHOCOLATE!...or

this is stupid'etc etc. It was amazing that I even carved for things that I

normally don't have a thing for!

I completed my course of actions. I did what I set out to do. I celebrate my

success and my discipline on staying on track. I learned that I am the only one

in my way and I am the first deciding factor in winning or failing. I now know

that the snake in the garden of Eden also resides in me. I gained deeper

understanding on how I operate life.
