Some have noted that Epsom Salts has helped them to get through episodes.

I've done castor oil packs and had a foot massage to help a couple of times,

but, it's been over two and a half years since my last attack in October of

'99' and I have only done maybe two more castor oil packs since then.

True, Dale, at least it does help me, and so do the castor oil packs. In my

opinion what has also helped me is now I take magnesium every day. I take it

three times per day and one at bedtime. These are magnesium caps that I get

from the health food store. I get Solaray brand because I think it's a good

product. I have tried magnesium chelate, now I'm using magnesium citrate

caps. It doesn't cause diarrhea unless you take a lot, but even 3x a day I

never have constipation problems anymore at all.

Another thing, if one knows that they for sure have stones, Beta-TCP is

wonderful. I take it with my meals. I found out about Beta-TCP from Dr.

Mercola's website. He gives it to all his patients who have gallstones. It

surely does help!

Take care,

Susie

Does someone have anything that works to stop a gall bladder attack after

it starts. I hate taking the heavy duty pain killers they give you in

the ER. Someone mentioned Curcuma and another something they couldn't

remember. I do the castor oil packs a couple of times a week and watch

my diet. I just did my first flush, but don't think it was too

successful as I only had one movement that was greenish in color and had

one stone about the size of a small pebble. Any advise would be

appreciated.

Actually the heavy duty pain killers do just about as much good. They help to

relax the muscles and this in turn also helps in getting a stone to pass. My

doctor worked along with me when I was doing the flushes to help in keeping me

from too much pain. I told the nurse that I don't like having to take the

medication but that is when I was told it was helping to relax the various

actions. I would fairly frequently test to see how I was doing and end up having

to take around four to Five roxicets to keep from having to go to the hospital.

If I happened to need more I would go to the hospital but that only happened a

total of four times in '99' and really boils down to two because the first two

trips were to find out I did in fact have 'A' gallstone.

I would like to try Beta-TCP, but I like to know how things work on your body

before I try something. Exactly what is Beta-TCP

Hello, Pat,

here is a copy from the website where I order my Beta-TCP from. Biotics

Research makes the product.

Beta-TCP - Source of organic whole beet concentrate and vitamin C from beet

source, taurine and pancrealipase (all known to assist with cholesterol to

bile acid conversion). Use with biliary stasis where there are no signs of

constipation or light colored stools and the gall bladder has not been

removed. Symptoms for use include - pain over the eyes, pain in the webbing

between the right thumb and fore finger, pain between the shoulder blades,

gas, bloating, inability to tolerate fats or fried foods, or a history of

gall bladder attacks where stones were detected or suspected.

This is the website link: http://www.myvits.com/

Pat, here is info from Dr. Mercola's website:

Susie,

I would like to try Beta-TCP, but I like to know how things work on your body

before I try something. Exactly what is Beta-TCP, and why is it good for someone

with gallstones? What does it do to the gallstones, or the gallbladder?

Thanks,

Pat

Agnes has posted in the past that the taking of some epsom salt during an

attack can bring relief. I can't remember the dosage, but it was something

like 1 Tblsp. in a glass of water or juice. Maybe someone else remembers, or

has tried it, and can reply

________________

I've taken ES during an attack and it stopped the attack. It was last year

on my mini-vacation. We took some Tropicana Orange juice with us, and this

stuff brought on the attack. I don't ever drink that stuff, so I didn't

know.

Of course, Agnes may have stated this, too, about the ES stopping an attack.

Take care,

Susie

Since you made it through the first flush O.K., I'd encourage you to give it

another try. Sometimes it takes more than one flush to " see " results. Also,

I'd try to do the other cleansing programs-the bowel/kidney/parasite ones (they

can be found on the curezone website, and in your healthfood stores.)

I have found relief from what appeared to be the beginning of a gallstone

attack by taking anywhere from 4- 10 tablespoons of liquid chlorophyll. This

seems to work best if I know I've eaten something that might be interferring

with the flow of my bile, as liquid chlorophyll is suppose to help with that. I

have also found that any tea with peppermint in it helps, although I've heard

that peppermint should be avoided by those with known gallstones when NOT having

an attack. Hope this helps...

Dale, what a blessing to have a doctor who works with

you on the flushes!! That is extremely rare! It would be

so good if they would do that, so all our success stories could

be as wonderful as yours! Do I sound just a little jealous??

Well I am :-)

Are you using NSP's Liquid Chlorophyll? If so, it has

some peppermint in it for flavor. Maybe that is what is

helping?? I put in my drinking water all the time.

Hello,

About peppermint, Dr. ' (or Louis) GB/liver cleanse says that if you

have nausea from taking the olive oil and lemon juice, that one can add a bit

of peppermint oil to it. I occasionly add a little bit to my olive

oil/grapefruit juice. It only takes very little and helps with the nausea.

Curcuma and Coptis is what is recommended by Chaing who sells

the Chinese herbs. I tried it once when I felt like an attack " might "

be coming on and it worked, but I am not positive that I was having

one. Try very hot bath or the hot cold treatment. Shower from hot to

cold one minute at a time for fifteen minutes. Do the therapy every

day for healing treatment. I use two bathtubs, one with cold, one

with hot. I don't like doing it, but it has worked every time for me.

All cleanses are different. Don't give up. Keep at it. Dawn who has

now done twelve cleanses.

Hear, hear! I am following Susie's recommended protocol on both

products and have not had an attack in a month. I am also no

longer " testing " my gb with foods I KNOW will bring on an attack. I

am being a good girl for another month (and probably beyond) until I

see the new ultrasound results. Dawn
