We travelled to Scotland at least twice, one of my favorite places! It's a funny story about the braces. My brother lives in Salisbury MD, and knows the Rothschild guy personally, as well as being a client. So he saw my son in his restaurant before he even became a patient. On the day that he went to get the casts made, Dr. Rothschild, Dr. Fox's father in law came in and watched. I'm wondering if your orthotist could be advised on how to make the casts t he way they want them, and then send the casts here to be made up? With pics etc, or even video of youwalking , whatever they asked for? If your dr. doesn't meet the idea with interest, I could see if my brother could ask Dr. Fox directly if it was possible. Guest guest Posted July 1, 2002 Report Share Posted July 1, 2002 Hi everyone I've been having digestive problems for about six months now, and have just had a scan which confirmed the presence of gallstones - I don't yet know what size or how many, I have to wait and see my family doctor with the results next week. In the meantime, I've been trying to avoid the pain by changing my diet, and seem to be fairly stable at the moment (famous last words ...) and am hoping to avoid surgery by dealing with the problem myself. I've been a vegan for some years so I don't eat animal fats at all. The first thing I did was to cut out all fats, but now realise that this isn't such a good idea, so I'm gradually introducing a bit of oil in salads, and eating avocadoes and nuts again. I'm now living on fruit, veg, pulses, nuts and grains in as natural state as possible. I've lost a lot of weight, but then I had plenty to lose! I wondered whether anyone has found bread to be particularly indigestible? I've suspected a link for some time, and finally decided to cut it out about 3 weeks ago. I haven't had an attack since, when I was getting 2 or 3 a week before that. Is this coincidence, or has anyone else found the same? I'm missing eating bread, but think I could put up with anything rather than suffer the pain of another attack. She temporarily lives with her daughter in Florida so she can attend a special school program. I think it's near Orlando. But her real home is outside of DC.
