I hate to gross you out, (is that possible on this list?!?!) but could it be

parasites being eliminated from your body?

Hi :

I agree with Barry that food can get between the gums and teeth. I've

recently been having some dental work done at the Univ of Wn dental school

and they push, probe, and X Ray everything. I've learned that as I age, my

gums begin to sag away from the tooth root. In fact, when they clean my

teeth in a couple of weeks, they are going to give me a mild anesthetic

because they say that it is very invasive. The gum sagging happens to

everyone. And like Barry, I have things like popcorn (which I love) hang

around for a long time, even into the next day.

For some strange reason, swishing really cleans things out around the teeth,

and I too have found little bits and pieces that are picked up by the oil,

even when swishing long after eating or even first thing in the AM.

Lol, I don't think it really is possible to gross people out on a bowel

cleansing list. At least not people who've been here for a while. Everyone

gets used to this stuff after a while, I think. :)

Thanks for the feedback. A few responses... I've recently had a thorough

exam and teeth cleaning. The stuff I saw was after thoroughly brushing my

teeth a number of times and it continued after swishing a number of times. I

know that I couldn't describe very well what I saw, but it definitely was not

food. Not popcorn, not cereal, not nuts - not anything resembling any of the

kind. Here's the best way I can describe it. If you've ever seen natural

apple cider vinegar with the " mother " in it. That's what the stuff looked

like. First I thought that it was in the ACV, but there wasn't any in the

jar I had brought to work (a diluted mixture). Just to be sure, I swished

again using just water and saw the same stuff.

The possibility of parasites did occur to me, but since I've not been on any

cleansing routine I kind of ruled that out, pretty much. I thought about it

later in the day and it occurred to me that it might have been from blood

from the gums.

I don't want to see the dentist unless it becomes serious. Not that I have

anything against the dentist or any fear of him. I actually happen to like

my dentist and believe it or not, enjoy going to the office. I just don't

think it's anything that requires medical attention. If it gets worse,

though, of course I will. But now it's Friday morning and I feel a bit of

an improvement and I haven't seen any more of that membrane type stuff. So I

think all is okay.

Thanks for the feedback!

Hi ,

Actually, yes, I have experienced something simular to what you are

talking about. Most of the time I figure out that it is some food

that had been stuck under the gum. For instance, sometimes wheat

cereal will stick under my gums and come out the next day. Same with

popcorn kernels. Just some thoughts. I hate for you to think it was

anything but food. If it really is some kind of wormy stuff then I

would say you should go out and buy a gallon of olive oil and swish

those gums several times a day. Also, seeing your dentist may be

helpful. hehe A good teeth cleaning may be overdue. :-)

Rach, how is it that you always get to have those weird, cool,

undescribable foriegn object things? hahaha

Be healthy.

Barry.

Very good point, Elaine, and I'll keep that in mind. Just to clarify,

though, something that I think I might have not communicated clearly. When I

did the oil swishing I just added a few drops of the SuperTonic to it. But

when I 'swished' with the ACV I definitely didn't keep it in there for 10

minutes In fact...I'd be amazed to hear of anyone who could, because it was

all I could do to keep it in there for a minute of swishing! :)

That is a good point to keep in mind, though. I hadn't even thought about

the enamel on the teeth. I guess when gargling normally with ACV the contact

is with the throat, mostly, rather than the teeth. The last thing I want to

do is cause MORE problems while trying to take care of something else. :)

An update, by the way, that area is pretty much back to normal. Whew! :)

I use Dr. Schulze's Tooth and Gum--when I use it full strength I have

something like what you are saying but it is clearly mucus. I think

I would be very carful with ACV in my mouth next to my teeth for a

period of time--what is it 10 min ??? When I had poison ivy on my

arm someone suggested I pour ACV over it. Well I did---it didn't do

much good but I also failed to rinse my sink and it ate the chrome

off the stopper in my sink. It would be awful if the ACV hurt the

enamel on your teeth. I can see that ACV would be cleansing and know

that it is good for what ails the body, I just wonder if having it

next to your teeth will harm them---I don't know---just wondering.

Could it be some of the floaty stuff at the bottom of the apple cider

vineager? Dawn

there seemed
