Hi Tammy,

What you are describing can be from many things in the digestive

tract besides the gallbladder. It could be stomach or

gastrointestinal ulcers, problems with sphincter of oddi, or other

digestive problems. Also even if your gallbladder is ultrasound clear

of stones doesn't mean that you don't have biliary duct blockages or

problems with your bile to digest those fatty foods. Also ultrasound

does not always detect all stones so you still may be dealing with

stones or even small grainy size stones that can still cause blockage

of ducts and create colic pain or even nausea.

If you really suspect it is from your liver/gallbladder system then

it wouldn't hurt to do a couple of liver/gallbladder cleanses and see

if the nausea clears up. The Dr. Hulga cleanse found on site

www.curezone.com is a mild and easy flush to do. Maybe this will

clean out your gallbladder, biliary ducts, and liver tracts and stop

your problems. If it doesn't then you can always continue to look for

other problems in your digestive system. The flush is good for

cleansing the liver even if you don't have gallbladder problems so it

is always worth a try. Besides that, the flush doesn't hurt you so it

is always good to improve your health if nothing else. Removing old

toxins, old sludge buildup, etc within the liver by flushing out your

bile is always good to do for anyone wanting to be more healthy.

Good luck.

Barry.

I have had severe things happen in the past that have lead me to

think I may have something wrong with my gall bladder. Strong nausea

after fatty meals, Nausea in the middle of the night, chest and back

pain etc. I have had an ultrasound that shows NO gall stones.

Should I keep digging???

Thanks for your help.

Tammy;

I'm glad to hear that your ultrasound showed no stones, but part of the

problem with an ultrasound is that it won't always be as effective as an MRI

to show certain types of stones, especially those that are formed from

precipitated cholesterol or cholesterol in a thickened state such a sludge.

However, nausea itself isn't indicative of a gallstones as much as belching

would after a heavy meal. Nausea could be, as Barry has noted, an ulcer or

some other of the potential problems that can occur. The most common type of

abdominal pain with gallstones has a bloating that occurs along with it. The

pain is usually higher up in the abdominal area and will with some people go

from the front side to the back side and even be like it's traveling up the

underside of the right shoulderblade. I personally never suffered with a

nausea from the gallstone that was in my gallbladder but I did writhe in

pain enough times to know something wasn't right.

Nausea can come from eating various food combinations too. So, it could be

that you may be having trouble with an allergic reaction to the foods that

you are eating. Try avoiding foods that have refined wheat flour, milk,

animal fat, hydrogenated fats, refined simple sugar, and, most importantly

anything containing a sugars substitute called aspartame. This will help to

pin point what specific foods or combinations are causing this type of

nausea along with an abdominal pain. Two of these websites have some

suggestions as to other things you may consider trying to do too to see if

they help in dealing with whatever is happening in your body. The third is a

precursor for someone considering the removal of their gallbladder, and

especially if it is too dead to recover.

One other thing to see about avoiding is using a microwave to prepare foods.

This modern convenience could very well be the cause of some problems with

people not be nourished from the foods cooked by their use. Take special

note of the THERMIC AND NON-THERMIC EFFECTS at this website.

Dale, Is an MRI the same thing as a CAT scan? I think that was the

first test I had and it showed my gb clear. The ultrasound showed

stones, so how would the stones shown on an ultrasound different for

those on an MRI? Dawn

What are the problems caused by cold aspartame?
