Do you have to have gall stones to have gall bladder trouble?

I have had severe things happen in the past that have lead me to

think I may have something wrong with my gall bladder. Strong nausea

after fatty meals, Nausea in the middle of the night, chest and back

pain etc. I have had an ultrasound that shows NO gall stones.

Should I keep digging???
