Dark rings around eyes...??

Has anyone came up with an answer for s question about her

friend who has dark rings around her eyes? I have a friend who has

the same thing and doesn't know if it is hereditary or something

missing in his diet. Does anyone know anything about this? What to

try for dieting? He says vitamins don't help.
