Guest guest
When I was little my parents raised chickens. They weren't given any chemicals or drugs that I know of. We had several acres and they were in a big pen so they could run around freely when they wanted. So we were fed chicken and eggs. The smell of bacon and eggs cooking in the morning and coffee made me nauseated. When I was sick my mom gave me milk, toast and egg which made me more sick. A regular part of the diet was peanut butter and whatever else sandwiches. I would throw up at night and when we were driving in the car and was allergic to everything. My dad got mad at me cause I couldn't wait for him to drive to next town to throw up and did it out the window instead while we were driving. I woke up one morning when we were camping and had thrown up in the night and didn't even remember it. This is what being brought up with animal foods and conventional practices did to me and I am very lucky to be here today in spite of them. One time when I was about 20 I ate only rice and tomato sauce for a few months to save money. It worked, and was also probably the best diet I'd eaten at that time! But then I continued to eat meat into my 20s and sometimes ate a pound of hamburger at a time. It disgusts me now to even think of that and I am ashamed to admit it! I started running again in my mid 20s and trained hard and then ran a couple of marathons. I thought I was very fit and was reasonably fast running but people would run right away from me the longer the race. Then when I was 28 is when I tried the freshly made raw vegetable juices. I kept improving and soon ran the mile as fast as when I was 19. My ten mile time went from 75 minutes to 54 and marathon from 3:34 to 2:35 on hilly courses in the heat. I ran in Los Angeles and went from 30 miles a week to 132 and could run and run and not get tired. I ran 31 miles close to 6 minute pace when it was in the 90's with no water. I'd drunk a 1/2 gallon of fresh vegetable juices before starting but there was no water on the course, a mistake. On the rare occasion, not recently, that I've been away from home and tried to eat chicken, I've not been able to run the next day. It affects me that way and immediately. When I first went on the juices and then had a little meat I would feel it in my system for a week! Like the poison it is. So I never ate it again and I don't eat chicken or any other meat. I am just relating my experiences here as others have done. Anyone can do what they choose to do. I believe in free will, all of us having access to all of the relevant information, the truth, and being able to make our own decisions and own choices. For me, I have had many trials and tribulations in my life. I can tell you that meat made me sick and it made me unhealthy and it almost killed me. And the fresh vegetable juices saved my life. I would not be here today had I not taken them. Thank you, Dr. ! He is gone now, at age 118, but I am so thankful for him being here and writing his books. I hope this is helpful to some of you too.
