Guest guest
" ....last year i got an iridological reading that said my lungs were massively scarred. so hopefully when the lungs heal i will have alot more oxygen in my body.... " Hi: Your lungs have healed. That's what the scar tissue represents. Jay
Guest guest
Hi: <<if my lungs have healed, then why do i have a really nasty dry hacking cough that hasn't gone away for the last 4 years.>> The body is a tremendous healing machine and scars are an indication that it has healed. Tuberculosis is one thing that causes lung scarring, and as it scars, it covers the TB bacteria to stop it from spreading, and when it is all covered by this scar tissue you are temporarily " healed " from TB, though the TB bacteria is still there and active (alive) under the scar tissue. I had TB as a child and have the tumors in my lungs (another fantastic method the body used to protect from TB) that has enveloped the bacteria and stopped it from spreading. I have never had problems from the tumors, except, my oxidation capacity has been reduced. I have had difficulty gaining aerobic fitness, yet the TB/tumors didn't keep me from military service or flying while in the service .. I have never had the hacking from my TB tumors, only from cigarettes, and hacked worse for the first 6 months after I quit 30 years ago, than ever before in my life. I would take a guess at something that is irritating your lungs. I recently had a bout of severe sneezing and coughing during my night of sleep, but when I left my bedroom in the morning it all went away. I eventually discovered black mold in large quantities in nooks of the bathroom (particularly behind the commode and behind the tank - a hard place to see) which is attached to my bedroom (in an upstairs and away from the rest of my apartment). I cleaned all of that out with strong cleansers including bleach, and immediately stopped my night time sneezing and cold symptoms. Actually, betinning the very next night I had no more problems. Tough the following article indicates that the body devlops an immunity to TB, I have a friend who had TB, developed the scars, and then got TB again. Jay regarding TB from http: //www.rush.edu/worldbook/articles/020000a/020000200.html: Infection may result from inhalation of minute droplets of infected sputum or, less commonly, from drinking infected milk. If the infected person is not immune, the bacteria grow freely within the body and spread from the lungs to other parts of the body.Eventually the patient develops immunity and the bacteria stop spreading. They become surrounded by scar tissue and do not cause further tissue damage. At a later stage, the protective layer of scar tissue may break down. This may be due to the development of another disorder; a reduction in immunity, which may occur with old age; the use of corticosteroid drugs; or malignant diseases, such as leukemia, Hodgkin's disease, and particularly HIV/AIDS. Guest guest
jay: glad to hear that you not hindered by your t.b. i disagree with your estimation of how the body works. my opinion is that bacteria, viruses, and parasites are a natural part of our internal ecosystem. when damaged tissue is present, then these bacteria flourish to help clean up the damaged tissue. i have experimented with this theory by eating fermented raw eggs last year. the bacteria went into my digestive system and cleaned out my intestines more aggressively than any supplement i have ever taken. my immune system became much stronger after this experiment. i think hulda clak is paranoid and has this whole thing backward. i believe the body forms tumors not to seal off bacteria, but to seal off other toxins for a time in the future when it is better able to handle the detox. i know this is contrary to what everyone in the world thinks, but my life experience has shown me this to be true. there are many people on the live-food list who would agree and who have experienced remarkable healings as a result of following this logic. we agree that the body is a tremendous healing machine as far as an irritant, i don't think there is anything in my apartment that is causing the irritation. rather i think this is an old injury that i am reliving as a cleansing reaction. i do not believe in suffering, so i am trying to find a better way to get through this cleansing reaction. i had frequent bronchitis and pneumonia in my youth. then it all stopped as i became proegressively more ill. now that i am getting progressively healthier i am reliving the lung problems, but it's alot easier now that i am older and have a clue as to how the body works. i suggest the book 'we want to live' by aajonus vonderplanitz. i think his theory on all illness in general is brilliant. i do not agree with him on alot of finer points. but he cured himself of bone and blood cancer by applying the above theory. he has purposely induced meningitis on himself in order to heal spinal problems successfully. it is a dramatic approach, and i don't agree with the drama, but it works, and his principles are sound. for the past few years i have been susceptible to staph and strep in the winter time. this past winter after applying his principles of eating, i breezed through the cold months with not a single sniffle. i think both pasteur and bechampes have their place in healing, but i prefer the bechampes philosophy as the more powerful one. if i were in danger of losing a limb i would apply the pasteur method. but once this was accomplished i would make my life path one of altering my internal terrain to one that did not warrant strong cleansing reactions.
