Someone has asked that I send along this request for information. Can anyone

help?

=============

My friend is having black circles under his eyes, and its growing from the

time he started his liver cleansing. He has completed 3 flushes, and

according to him has passed out around 300 stones.

If you have any information about the cause..I'd be very grateful.

Regarding the blocked nose, try the oil-sucking technique I recently

described on Dom's kefir list .... you will find some relief as it cleans

up the area where Sinus and mouth meet and therefore also the space above.

I could imagine that this is a good add-on to flushing your sinuses.

Be well

Joanne,

I was always under the impression that dark circles were partially

genetic....too bad for me, in that case. Although I do eat much better than my

mom does.

Re: neti pot

All you need is a small (1-2 cup) teapot with a small spout---this will probably

be cheaper than a neti pot anyway. Most health food stores sell the neti pots.

I would think a syringe would be too forceful and you'd have to refill it a lot.

I use my neti with warm water, salt and whey sometimes (per Heidi's suggestions)

in the shower. It's great!!! You'll love it.

Dark Circles

Hi

Saw somddiscussion lately on Dom's kefir list about

dark circles under the eyes. I always thought they

were down to lack of sleep (and bags due to water

retention). Appears that they could be to do with

either blocked sinuses or nutrient deficiency.

I have heard vits C and B could be involved, as well

as magnesium. Does anyone have any thoughts on this?

I seem to have them permanently, no worse or better

since my sleep problems started.

Heidi, I read about your neti pot technique - I don't

know if I can get hold of a neti pot, but a friend has

to flush his sinuses regularly (they empty into the

pockts under his eyes if he doesn't) and he uses a

syringe to squirt a saline solution into his sinuses,

so I will ask him to help me gather the necessary

equipment together. My nose is permanently partly

blocked.

TIA

Jo

Hi Sonya

That's a good article, thanks.

Interestingly, I have been supplementing with

Calcium/Mag/Zinc. I used to take just mag, but when I

gave up dairy, I switched to the combined pill (in

chelated form). However, I noticed I was getting

shakey and weak legged - do they call this muscle

fatigue? I gave up the suplement, and afte a week or

so I had gone back to normal. I've been taking it

again, just for the magnesium even though I am eating

(too much) dairy again, but my legs are getting

weaker, especially at night when I take the supplement

in the morning.

Thing is I can't eat just a little dairy. Could this

be a sign that my body is not absorbing the calcium?

IF so, what I can do about it - digestive enzymes?

Jo

I have started bathing in

Hi - my understanding is that dark circles could point to allergies.

Have you explored that angle?

Have you thought of using garlic as a type of flush?
