Thought it would be important to mention now that I am feeling MUCH better. That

is, I have at least as much energy as I did before and I am no longer hungry!

I still am not juicing enough, but began cooking onions and garlic in coconut

butter briefly before adding the veggies and broth to make soup. I've also found

that drinking a lot of green and white tea through the day, or just some ginger

ground up in hot water, has helped me feel good.

I've even cut out black tea entirely (this is a small miracle as I use to live

on the stuff).

I am not too thrilled with bowel movements as they should be more frequent. My

problem is not enough insoluble fiber, so I've ordered some colosan and I'm also

going to try get get more grains in.

It did take five long weeks to feel okay again. I felt crummy through them all.

I am a bit thinner and probably need to stop losing weight as women in their

forties are quite good at losing all their muscle mass if they get too thin, and

I don't want to do that. I'm

exercising moderately and am taking off my glasses in the sun. But no sunbathing

in these February temperatures, LOL!!

So, just an update on this! Thanks to all who encouraged me to carry on! I do

feel good again....I can't believe it!

Marti- Do you use some coconut oil to cook with? It can help regulate the

thyroid and increase energy. Are you using ground flaxseeds, in juice or the

morning FO/yogurt?

Have you tried juicing carrots and beets or greens every day? Are you trying to

spend some time in the sun every day? The Budwig diet includes some outdoor sun

without glasses every day.

I feel more energetic on the BP and a knee injury has improved.
