Guest guest
Anyone with experience dealing with Acute Myelogenous Leukemia? A dear friend of mine's dad, 76 ,has been diagnosed with this. Apparently it has been with him some time as five years ago doctors wanted to do a bone marrow test. Of course they want to do some heroic stuff with him including some experimental meds. Joe C.
Guest guest
Joe C. if he ahs had this for some time I have to assume then that it was MDS that went into AML. Is that true? Diet is one thing that could be changed if he already hasn't. Essiac's tea is another thing that I think might help. Dandelion root ( herb ) increases white cells as I understand it. This is some of what I used with my oldest daughter who had AML. Vitamin C ( liquid ) and Vitamin A ( liquid) IV use with both if you can. Is better then using it any other way. Guest guest
knows much more about AML treatment than me. I don't think anything's got a high success rate w/it. I personally would NOT do a " bone-marrow transplant " (very-high-dose chemo) for any type of cancer. Guest guest
Leonard, The various AML treatments that I suggested to you are only those that I thought a person could muster up for himself/herself to do at home. The more aggressive treatments require preparation and teaching. This I do through our seminars in Del Mar, e.g., for AML we teach strategies for inducing apoptosis in blast cells through maximizing the superoxide anion, ajoene, valproate, and histone deacetylase inhibitors. We then provide the meds for program participants to use at the San Diego Clinic if infusions are required. Much of this is funded through our non-profit. This is how the San Diego Clinic can keep prices low for those who go though our program. You can call Shirley Stratman at the Center (858-523-9144) for information on the one-week intensive program. AML is not the demon that most people think it is. It is just necessary to act fast and selectively.
