No, no pain at all. I did have a hard time sleeping though. I also took 4

ornithine caps as well. How important is it to take all four doses of epsom

salts. i'm considering skipping the last dose. I got out about 10 more small

green stones.

Thanks for your input Susie. I was thinking it would be nice to have some

ginger! Well, I went ahead for the last dose of ES. I figured I should just go

for it so I just got done with it. Also, this is so awesome! I just got out

about another 100 stones and lots of floating green chaff. It feels great to

know all this stuff is coming out.

My stones and the chaff are all very green, like darker than pea green. I'd say

kale green, although some are a lighter green. There were about 4 tan stones

and that was it. I got out some BIG ones but most are small.

Thanks. I was thinking I would probably need to do this several times. How

often do you do a cleanse or how often is it recommended? I have heard that in

keeping in tune with the moon's cycles that the best two days to cleanse are on

the new moon and the full moon. Last night was the full moon. Also, that it is

best to do any kind of cleansing or detoxification between the full moon and the

new moon, when it is waning. When the moon is waxing, it is best to restore the

body with good food, rest, and supplements, if needed.

Talk about synchronicity! I was just reading about Dr. Mercola's Living Fuel

Superfood for the second time and thinking, hmm, that stuff looks really good!

I may try it too but it's so expensive. It works out to be about $150 a month.

If I get it, I'd probably take half servings. It looks like it could help you

lose weight. It seems like a great alternative to a meal.

I don't need to lose weight but I certainly need to detoxify and rebuild and

maintain.

Let us know how you like it.

Susie,

Weight.

You know what helped me lose a bunch of weight? Or at least 20 pounds? This

was about a year ago. I quit eating sugar and quit eating bread. I've

gradually decreased my sugars even more to the point where I don't eat dried

fruit or maple syrup, brown rice syrup, honey, etc. I don't eat ANY bread. I

eat very little fruit. Some days I'll do half-day kidney cleanses and eat just

watermelon. I still get some carbs but very little. I dropped 20 pounds just

from doing that and I wasn't overweight to begin with - just medium. Now, I

look at myself and think, is this what people are supposed to look like?

Because I looked normal before. I cut those things out of my diet to feel

better, not to lose weight. It's taking me some getting used to being thin (not

too thin) but it's a different way all together.

I feel a lot better with sugar and bread out of my diet.

My diet consists mainly of vegetables (lots of salads, steamed broccoli, kale,

mustard greens, etc), brown rice, some beans, some fruit, pumpkin seeds, sesame

seeds, flax seeds, olive oil, grapeseed oil, some tofu, some tempeh, some kosher

or organic beef and chicken, quinoa, lots of onions.

Not a lot I know but I make it work for me and my cravings are far less now.

I'm considering slowing down on the beef as well. Also, when I get a sugar

craving I make lemonade out of lemons and stevia or drink a tea with licorice in

it. It totally curbs the cravings.

I also sometimes make a vice food in the middle of all this which is pakoras.

They're fried vegetables in a chickpea flour/indian spices breading. So good.

If you want the recipe, I'll send it to you.

Joyce,

I've found little things that make the cleanse easier for me. First, I add

1/2 cup of water to each dose of ES. Now, this is something that I've done

on the last two cleanses. Instead of ES in the morning, I use Magnesium

Citrate. You drink it. It comes in a bottle mixed up. You can get it in

cherry flavor or lemon. There may be another one and can't remember. I get

the cherry. It's easier on you after you've fasted during the cleanse.

Also, to my olive oil/grapefruit mixture, I add 1/4 cup of organic apple

juice that I get from the health food store. I have a book by Dr.

Cabot, and in this book she has several different cleanses for your GB. Keep

in mind that there are lots of recipes all maybe a little different. You can

tailor it to your taste and what works for you. On my last cleanse I added a

little pressed fresh ginger root--not much! It's potent, then I added 2

drops of peppermint oil (it's very potent) that I got from the health food

store. Both these things help fight nausea.

Before when I used to use ES in the mornings, I could rarely finish that last

dose. It was just too much for me and I was too weak.

Hope this helps!

I'm so glad that you're getting all that stuff out. Keep in mind that you'll

need to do this several times. I'm overdue for a cleanse right now. Be sure

you hydrate yourself later with water, sipping on it during the day.

> I was thinking I would probably need to do this several times

Joyce,

I started out doing the cleanse two weeks apart, then went to a month to a

month and a half. My last cleanse was Feb. 25th, so I need to do one again.

Since I've been on Beta-TCP and magnesium, I don't feel that I need one as

often now.

However, today I just started that new stuff from Dr. Mercola's website

called Living Fuel Superfood. I drank my first dose this morning. I'll

probably only replace one meal a day with it. It is packed with important

vitamins/amino acids/enzymes that I need to maintain a healthy liver/GB, so

we'll see how it works. I want to lose a bunch of weight. This stuff might

just help.

Joyce,

It does seem expensive, yes, but if you look at it like a meal

replacement+vitamin supplement, it's rather cheap. I take lots of vitamins,

which can get expensive. I figure it's going to work out a little cheaper

for me, I guess. I'll be drinking my second dose here soon. I had it at

about 8:00 this morning. It's held me until now. It's close to noon here.

They say on the container that it lasts 4 to 6 hours. At first you're going

to detox on it, and it takes a few days for your body to get used to it.

After I took it this morning, my nose was running like crazy. I couldn't

walk without snot going everywhere. Hate to get so gross, but it's the

truth!

Joyce,

I don't really crave sugar at all. Every once in a blue moon, I may have a

regular Coke or half of one, something like that. I have been eating more

bread lately, so I'm cutting back on that. I was buying my bread from the

health food store, but then started buying the sugar busters wheat bread.

Even though I was eating a little more, it's still not very much.

I love veggies, most all of them. Right now I'm cooking beans for dinner. I

may have to cut back on beans. This Living Fuel is supposed to knock out

your cravings, too, like sugar and stuff like that for anyone having sugar

cravings. I'm thinking of adding more green-type veggies. I usually have

some kind of salad with every meal, but I may add some other things.

I make this pasta dish that my husband just loves. I use whole wheat pasta,

spaghetti. Anyway, I may have to get some other kind from the health food

store. They have different kinds that aren't wheat. I do remember some

info that I received from Dr. Cabot's website about whole wheat, that anyone

with a weight problem shouldn't have it. Also, for some reason, in hot

weather (which is where I live) it makes you more tired.
