Does being sick throw off blood test results?

I have been wanting to do the cancer profile from American Metabolic

Laboratories. It can only be done on Mondays, so that I can mail it

to them and have the test done on Wednesday. I planned to do it today

but have not been feeling well the last few days(some sort of cold)and

also I strained my lower back. They say not to do anything strenuous

for two days before the test, so I'm wondering if hurting my back and

feeling sick would make the test less valid? Anyone know about this?

I wouldn't mind just waiting til next week but I missed it two weeks

in a row for other reasons, such as last week I read that you

shouldn't take enzymes for 48 hours and I had done that.
