Barry asks below why would a person flush when they don't have any painful

symptoms? I began flushing before I had any symptoms and I sure am glad I did!

I got out so much sludge and so many big hard clumped " stones " . I will continue

periodic flushes to see what I get. I'd rather error on the side of getting that

stuff out than wait until it builds up so bad that I have to have my GB out

because I can't get the big one to pass. Barry! Please don't be offended by

this. You are sure a great guy and I'm awfully sorry you had to got through what

you have. I for one am so glad you are on this list because you are knowledgable

(sp?) about so much in regard to flushing and I have learned much from your

posts. But I do have to disagree with you on this one. I think that those large

stones that I got out must have been harmful in some way, or could/ would be in

the future. of Dewberry Hill

If you are flushing without

gallstone attacks just because your mother had stones you are really

a cautious person. Sometimes it is even better to leave things alone

unless you have colic. Stirring the pot so to speak without pain can

cause more problems than you started with. Many thousands of people

have 'silent' stones that they take to their graves without ever

having any pain. Only a small percent ever have colic attacks that

need corrective actions.

followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life. "
