Guest guest
Coco-Cacao Bliss Balls Mix 1/4 cup raw cacao powder (Navitas Naturals www.iherb.com) 2 Tablespoons melted coconut oil (warm in dehydrator to melt or slightly on warm setting on stovetop---not hotter then being able to put finger in pot) 1 Teaspoon Slim Sweet or 1 Tablespoon Mesquite powder (Slim Sweet is recommended by O. Young and is low-glycemic; Mesquite powder is recommended by Cousens and is also low-glycemic. Order both at www.iherb.com. Slim Sweet is manufactured by Trimedica and Mesquite by Navitas Naturals) 1/4 - 1/2 teaspoon Frontier brand non-alcohol vanilla flavoring or scrap off inside of vanilla bean, discard outer hard bean shell and add to mix. 1 Tablespoon dehydrated coconut meat (take some meat of a young virgin coconut and dehydrate until crispy) 1 Tablespoon soaked, dehydrated and chopped walnuts or pecans. Mix all by hand. Set in refrigerator. Makes 4 - 6 balls. I eat these for breakfast sometimes!! These are a semi-sweet chocolate treat. Slim Sweet is 100 times sweeter then sugar without the aftertaste of Stevia. I am going to be adapting this recipe in the future to use raw cacao butter to make a richer product. Stay tuned!!
