This November will be 5 years with stage IV breast cancer, metastasized to my

Dear Donna,

Hello...how are you? You are a very brave lady. You letter is very interesting

and sensitive.I am very happy to read your letter of recovery.

You have taken the right decision at right time.Adding to that when my sister in

law was diagnosed with gallblaer with mets to liver I went to see many doctors

including oncos and surgeons and even consulted Apollo India, Liver Centre India

, Goshen Health Care Indiana (for surgery and they honestly said can not perform

a surgery) and all oncos in Sri Lanka too gave dates to her precious life. At

one point I had this argument with an onco I asked him to tell me the exact

cause for the C and his answer was not known, then I told him then how can you

say the only cure (limited) is with you if the cause is not known to you? At

this point I started looking for alternatives and found many good ones (Paw Paw

and Immunocal etc) and this wonderful site gave me some new friends too.

As I live in Sri Lanka it took some time to bring down the medicine and only

yesterday we could start it. One onco (charges half the price for patients

here)who was so nice to her even gave us helping hand to use the alternatives.

We must remember that until Tolomy declared the world is round all believed

(specially europeans) it was a flat land with no end...is it right?People who

have taught the correct science mostly are not college degree holders but with

great brains. Example : Sir Arthur C e live in Sri Lanka until the end and

you know Sattelite is his invention/idea and entire world is running on this

technology now.

We hope to recover our sister any how (even though we are little late to get

alternative) and I wish you more and more and more.....health,strength and

energy and a very happy life.

Vishwajith

Donna,

Thank you for writing down your thoughts. I too was given very little hope and

that was 20 years ago.......and the next ten years was one cancer after another

(I believe my body was manifesting the trauma and abuse endured in childhood).

Hope, when nobody believes in it; hope when the odds are against you; hope when

the statistics are discouraging; hope when you overcome and living with the

reality that you will never end up in the positive statistic records.

Being an overcomer is what this is all about and without hope, no one can go on.

I love this site because even if anyone has been given the familiar discouraging

news about their situation, as long as they have breath, they can fight, learn

and overcome like you and I Donna.

There is no 'one path' but there are many similarities in the path to recovery

and the one most important piece is to keep hoping and when someone because of

their lack of knowledge is a discouragement to you, run the other way. Just

go.................You will be amazed at your will to live and how far you can

go with that alone.

I had four little ones to care for. My husband at the time was a professional

athlete and simply could not be home very much. I knew that despite the grim

news, I needed to find a way..........So here I am now at 43 years old with a

very interesting path, four teenagers that I homeschooled (still am) and very

proud of the family my husband and I built. Everyone has a lifestyle that

discourages cancer and those lessons that I had to learn so young are put to

good use for us and for others as I help them one by one.

It warms my heart to know that you Donna, , Joe, etc. are willing to

share their hearts with their various areas of knowledge. It is precious and

keeps this HOPE that we cancer survivors so desperately cling to.

Never give up. As long as you have breath, then fight! If you are too weak, find

others to fight with you. You can do it.......

Blessings,

Johanne

From someone who is big on words, I really find myself at a loss as to how to

respond to the individual inquires.?I take as much encouaragement from you as

any efforts Ioffer.? I do take comfort from those who are beacons along the

way.? and others on this group are a?tremendous source of information,

encouragement.? Initially I was at such a loss to find credible information I

would?also recommend reading Quillin, Boik who has encyclopedia of

science to back up the claims of natural compounds, ie., nutrients.??Judah

Folkman all of which have information on line and hard copy books.? Another

source of information has been with MDs, NPs, and PhDs on Christian Networks.

The Life Extension Foundation has a wealth of information with a rather

impressive board including MDs.

Judah Folkman has dedicated his life to research, most of those years was

ridiculed.? Now, the pharmaceutical companies have pattoned his data on

antiangiogenesis(cuts of the blood supply to tumors)?with pharmaceuticals that

have horrendous side effects.? The same according to Folkman as well as others

can be done with turmeric, green tea and even dark chocolate.? Pub Med, the

goverments own science data bank has information on alternatives that have

documented viable findings.

The University Studies have been a good source of obective information and

probably still better than most although are ever more under the influcence of

corporate profits.? The links on ellagic acid from rasberries, even more the

seeds crushed with juicing.? The studies on animals whose immunity surpassed

other primates who got cancer was from eating the whole fruit, including the

seeds.?

The comment on what causes cancer, people so easily dismiss?that as oh well

everything does.? Having it though does tend to make one narrow down the known

risks.? I have eliminated like charcoaled meats, replaced unhealthy fats with

healthy.?? A lot of people do not realize there is more Omega 3s in grass feed

beef than salmon, try to choose better quality meat.? Use orangic veggies as

much as possible, and wash vegetbles in peroxide.? I use a lot of baking soda as

well as oregano oil.? Do not use clear plastic for food ware or water, using

more natural?cleansers, cosmetics.? I have a few basic supplements I always

keep, cod liver oil, silymarin or milk thistle, borage oil.? Lots of good

water.?

I think it may of been Ralph Moss who said tatistically years ago people lived

longer having cancer with no treatment.? I did have surgery, I had aggressive

chemo and Herceptin?although?briefly and not as long as they wanted to give it,

which was indefintinitely.?The personal freinds of mine I am certain would of

done better without any treatment and myself outliving their prognosis and doing

so by being noncompliant with medical care.? I do not have the answers, I just

want people?to take a hard look at what this industury does to those who?naively

trust that the medical profession adheres to the oath to do no harm.??

Thanks Donna

I have reached a stage where hope was dwindling, reading your message hopefully

will spark me up again bit by bit I will overcome. I have mets to the liver from

colon cancer they " put into remission " 6 mths ago. One minute they tell me

things are looking good next 6 months at the most.

It's people like you that help me not give up, thank you

Love and best wishes Kim

Kim,

I too had colon cancer and it spread to my liver , lungs and pancreas.

Now it is completely gone.

I did 5 weeks radiation, 11 days chemo then went to alternative treatment.

With alkaline diet (and water)to not give it a good place to live (the cancer).

No sugar to feed it. Immunocal to build the immune system. Cecium to make the

cancer even more alkaline. Graviola also as an immune system builder and attacks

the cancer. Juicing (specific type). And a few other things. I am free of cancer

now.

But you have to be committed to the regime.

thx

Dennis
