Guest guest
Thanks, Tony -- you are the BEST. I especially appreciate the immediately practical, usable advice you impart, free of charge, and without any mysterious or mystical strings behind it. Conversely, I'm a little frustrated with exactly such nebulous responses from some other members. God bless you Tony -- I'll contact you on the Sutherlandia OPC group. > And Jim, I hate to hear you are having problems. Never say never my friend! Guest guest
I liked Oleander when I researched it! Calcium pump glycoside. Several flavenoids (carboxylated,) polysacharides, mineral oxides, and more. I always had trouble as the studies originally used to state its efficacy seemed to have come from a single source, and all early research was done in support of this one source. Getting past my discomfort, I saw it was pricey but then realized it is a form of combined therapy already. Not that pricey! So, i would never scare anyone from it, lots of people are now marketing variations of this and jumping on the band wagon. Having never used it, I have a hard time referring people to it, not knowing who the credible suppliers are. Much of it comes from foreign countries. Still, I like what is in it and am currently climbing out on a limb and buying it for my stubborn Father in law who would rather die that drink something that doesn't tasted good to him. He got started so late with SCLC and came to me so very late. Then he was immediately non compliant with his protocol, he will take pills so I am getting him some. He looks 3 months away from dying. I upped his cesium chloride and gave him DMSO gel for his tumor on spine! He has done better pain wise, but man, I need more tools. His cancer is everywhere. I will let you know how this oleander stuff works on him,....It's not like I have very long to find out! Wish me luck, He's a neat man! Guest guest
Thanks Jim, I would point out that the group is the " oleandersoup " group and not the Sutherlandia OPC group, though sometimes it surely seems that way! For the first few years, almost everyone in the group who used oleander either made their own extract at home according to the instructions in my book (also freely posted on my website, in the group files and at CureZone), or else took the patented medicine Anvirzel from Honduras, which the home remedy version is based on. Then Marc Swanepoel came along and began using the same method as the home remedy to make supplements. Intially, he had one version for cancer and another for HIV that each included about 80% oleander and 20% extracts of plants from the Brazilian rainforest (depending upon the version, it was oleander plus the ABM mushroom, cat's claw, and either pau d'arco or chrysobalanus icaco - the rid tipped plum tree). The Brazilian company he licensed to produce the extract charged about $350 per bottle. Marc later found that his native country's South Africa Cancer Bush gave even better results when it made up the other 20% of the extract and he switched to it and later developed a capsule version (and many grateful taste buds thanked him for that - as the extract tastes pretty nasty!). After a 100% successful double blind clinical trial for HIV in a Johannesburg clinic and an observed over 90% success rate against a wide range of cancers, a South African pharmaceutical company approached Marc and they reached agreement for them to produce over 10,000 bottles per month, for use in South Africa. The mass production resulted in consistent quality control from batch to batch and a much lower price of $60 for the extract and $45 for the capsules (the difference is the higher shipping cost of the heavier liquid). As a result of the relatively inexpensive price and the quality control, many people began to choose the S/OPC as their preferred version of oleander. So many in fact, that I can see how you think of the group as the S/OPC group! Probably way more information than you needed - lol. All the best, Jim. In my opinion you have some great folks in both groups rooting for you.
