Here are some > others thoughts on the subject of mammograms My breast cancer was detected by a routine screening mammogram. If I had waited for a lump, it would have been much, much worse. I'm glad they are available for those who want them. We all have to weigh our options and choose what we think is best. ar -- Arlyn Grant arlynsg@... Guest guest
Hi , It is a problem, that's for sure. But the incidence of breast cancer in younger women is going up and up and they are frustrated because they have little tools to help them get the diagnostic care they need. Many younger women who have a lump can't get a mammo even when their doctor says they need one. And many younger women have doctors who ignore their symptoms saying they are too young for cancer. So, here we have an entire population that can't even get diagnosed. I have dense breasts as well. I'm very lucky the mammo picked up my cancer. I just wish there was a better way for all of us. ar On Sat, 23 Feb 2008 21:25:27 -0000, " " <read_isaiah_53_5@...> said: > Arlyn, I agree there, I just feel they shouldn't be force fed to people > and it seems they are pushing them more and more for women who are > younger and have breasts too dense for it to even work. > > > > > > >
Guest guest
Not only did my daughter-in-law's physician's manual exam not find anything, the subsequent Mammogram just a month later was negative. Within three weeks a massive tumor manifested itself revealing aggressive breast cancer. Additionally she has been a vegetarian since the age of ten. There are many Alternative practitioners that recommend against Mammograms for a couple of reasons. However life is made up of choices and we make them based upon our beliefs or our trust in others. Those practitioners usually suggest Thermograms. Joe C.
Guest guest
Joe, How about trying raw fruitarian or raw paleolithic Waii Genriiu style from www.waisays.com ? The research of Wai indicates that plants raw or cooked is inferior to a raw fruits and a little raw animal diet. We Don't Need to Eat Plants In Short : We are not pigeons. We are not cows. Therefore we don't have a crop to digest cereals, nor 4 stomachs to gradually digest grasses or leaves. Cereals and vegetables contain many different substances inhibiting digestion and the uptake of nutrients in humans. To maximally absorb all required nutrients, you need to consume easy-digestible raw foods. And fruits and sashimi or fresh raw egg yolk (mixed with avocado) combined, contain all nutrients you need. There is not a single nutrient in vegetables or cereals, fruits do not contain. (see site3) To prevent your tummy to swell; don’t consume any beans, vegetables or grains. However, some vegetables you may find easy to digest, which allows you to eat these. Diet suggestions: http://www.waisays.com/suggestions.htm Just giving ideas, Edwin

My doctor's father is one of them. He chose the Hallelujah Acres version of a raw food diet which includes vegetable juice and a green drink but also includes a small amount of cooked food. I don't think he is strictly vegetarian, either. ar -- Arlyn Grant arlynsg@...
