Guest guest
'IF'? You don't want an if kind of situation going on because the IF answers may not apply in the first place. What 'if' you simply had adhesions narrowing the opening and a simply 'snip' which I had done in a physician's office that took care of the problem of pencil-thin stools when they came at all. It is doubtful that a doctor would do this in his office anymore but a quick exam should at least rule that in or out. Of course any of today's doctors will aim for an EndoscopyColonoscipy done at the hospital but perhaps you can be a bit insistent and just get the lower area checked out. Narrowed stools do indicate a narrowed opening but mine was not a tumor and was taken care of in minutes. Joe C.
Guest guest
Thanks Joe. Its an 'IF' situation at the moment because I dont yet know what the problem is. I want some ideas before I go to hospital to find out. My experiences in the hospital are extremely negative and stressful, doctors are bullying and talk down to me because they do not agree with my choice of treatments. I really want some thoughts so I feel less alone and vulnerable. The problem isnt really narrowed stools. I guess I'm having a hard time describing it. If anything it seems to be a disruption in the normal movement of stool along the digestive system-like there is not a normal muscle movement through the system(if it is muscle that controls this function)I'm not trying to get anyone here to diagnose me long distance but on the off chance that someone has experienced something similar I was hoping for some ideas. I also really want some thoughts on abdominal tumors. Related question: can anyone here describe symptoms of ascites? thanks > > 'IF'? > > You don't want an if kind of situation going on because the IF answers may not apply in the first place. Guest guest
Here's an email from Chase . " ...it seems like everyone is against what I am trying to do, even my own wife who has stage IV, lung cancer. " I tell you what, next time a doctors puts you down for not going under his treatment for cancer, ask him two questions. How many patients have you had, that have had my disease? How many of those patients have you cured using your therapies? His answers should be short, two separate numbers. (The answer should be hovering around 1%) Thanks Joe. Guest guest
IBS _ irritable bowel syndrome has " messed " up motility: either to fast (diarrhea) or too slow (constipation). Bloating, gas, pain are also part of it. It is not a disease like Chron's or collitis,it's considered a disfunction of the colon, but it can be so painfull and devastating that you think you could die from it.
