Guest guest
....i've read testimonials from people taking colloidal silver saying they were surprised to find it got rid of both the toenail fungus (the kind that builds up & gets orange & makes the nail misshapen) & gum disease they had for years. that would be nice if it's true. cutting way back on sugar is certainly good for both as well as HCV. i'm dying to find out (literally ha ha ha!) if my toenails are going to clear over the next months. thinking about attacking them a couple times a day with tea tree oil also to give a bit more punch but then i won't know if the CS did it or the oil....but gone is gone & that's a good thing. > Rashes.... > > > > > > I have congentital lyme disease also varrious rhemitoid problems....i > > was wondering with hep c do you get rashes as well??? i have > > pictures.... > > > > http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c98/lilibeelee/DSC00235.jpg > > > > http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c98/lilibeelee/DSC00233.jpg > > > > http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c98/lilibeelee/DSC00198.jpg > > > > > > http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c98/lilibeelee/DSC00185.jpg > > > > http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c98/lilibeelee/DSC00186.jpg > > > > > > > > > > > > > >
Guest guest
teatree oil is great for toenail fungus-used twice a day for 2 weeks and it was gone---it turns it black when you put it on after a few weeks it is gone--- my fingernails don't have a fungus they are just all bumpy. Could be that I am deficient in something. ...with hep-c some > > people get some rashes, but mostly on the feet & they're > > part of an annoying circulatory disease called something like > > cryoglobunemia > > that only goes away if one clears the hep-c virus. > > from what i've read rashes frequently come with the drug treatments as a > > side effect. > > > > > Rashes.... > > > > > > > > > I have congentital lyme disease also varrious rhemitoid problems....i > > > was wondering with hep c do you get rashes as well??? i have > > > pictures.... > > > > > > http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c98/lilibeelee/DSC00235.jpg > > > > > > http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c98/lilibeelee/DSC00233.jpg > > > > > > http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c98/lilibeelee/DSC00198.jpg > > > > > > > > > http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c98/lilibeelee/DSC00185.jpg > > > > > > http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c98/lilibeelee/DSC00186.jpg > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > >
Guest guest
Thank for the information, when my sister had nail fungus it turn their nails green and bumpy, that's why I thought the Doctor was wrong. Mine are like your's. It is interesting about the gums. My back teeth are killing me and the Dentist tells me their in nothing wrong. I think I have one tooth in my mouth that doesn't have a root canal. Monday I am going to a new liver Doctor, I had a bad few days, with pain on my right side and that headache that started in January was killing me. I think the stomach pain was caused by taking Indocin which is harsh on you stomach. I know he will probably suggest treatment, but I don't know my genone type, will have to find out before consider it. My real problem is I am sensitive to so many medications, I am afraid of taking the peg-infron. I can't take water pills, the doctor has tried a few and I have a bad reaction I had high blood pressure, it turns out it was from taking Vioxx, which caused some strokes. And my trust in the medical profession is very low since, I got HCV from a tranfusion and the way I was treated in the emergency room last month, like I was lower than low. The Doctor told me they didn't get involved with HCV patients. I reported him. Then he told me I had white spot on my brain, an infection and my ekg didn't look good. He gave me oxycodene for my headache and sent me home. I can't take any form of codeine medication, then my own Doctor gives me another narcotic with caffeine, I have insomnia. She also told I have a cyst in my brain but that not causing the headaches, and I know the HCV is getting worse. I get more information from you guys than the Doctor's my thanks again. bob Larson <bobLists@...> wrote: ....i've read testimonials from people taking colloidal silver saying they were surprised to find it got rid of both the toenail fungus (the kind that builds up & gets orange & makes the nail misshapen) & gum disease they had for years. that would be nice if it's true. cutting way back on sugar is certainly good for both as well as HCV. i'm dying to find out (literally ha ha ha!) if my toenails are going to clear over the next months. thinking about attacking them a couple times a day with tea tree oil also to give a bit more punch but then i won't know if the CS did it or the oil....but gone is gone & that's a good thing.
Guest guest
your dentist can't find a reason for the pain...doesn't mean it's not a tooth going bad. i had one insist that a tooth wasn't cracked even though i was sure i could detect movement of two seperate halves. i let him do a root canal...a couple days after the final procedure the whole tooth fell out in two pieces along the crack line. he'd already been paid or he never would've been. since then i've learned about merc-amalgam fillings, root canals, & the degree of both bad thinking & corruption in american dentistry. i only have four upper teeth left & most of the lower but can still chew. all my root canals & amalgam are gone & no more will be allowed.
Guest guest
Wow Margaret, I had the opposite problem. My nails grew like crazy! Now they are back to their soft, splitting self. But then again I am using my hands more and taking more showers and baths to get the toes wet. When I was in recovery mode, I just did not get as dirty and did not take a " whole " shower. Just the sponge bath type. Interestin to see others input on this one. Happy New Year. Guest guest
that's what i was thinking margaret -- lack of calcium and magnesium -- maybe when the bone is cut, our body's supply of these two rush to the cut bone to heal it, thus, a depletion. also, all that pounding could certainly injure a bone. i could be way wrong, lol, but it makes sense. i guess it'd be a good idea to take calcium and magnesium supplements before and afterwards, if they are allowed. btw, i do have a fingernail that has a split and it ALWAYS splits in the same exact place and then breaks off. this same finger, when i was a teenager, had an infection all around the nail bed. the nail completely fell off. the split didn't occur then, but sometime within the last few years, i was cleaning the louvers of the furnace vent, running my fingers in between and the metal sliced my nail; it has never healed, always splits. Hugs,Lindy LouRight THR 1/22/2007 I have another one of those questions.Since I had my revision in August 2004 I have had a fingernail that has a split going down the nail. When I have asked round it seems that many of my clients have also had this happen. They say it has never gone away.My question is -Have people on this group experienced the same problems? What causes nails to split, become soft, break easily and to get splits after surgery?Has anyone cured their problem?I guess that is 3 questions really.Any solutions out there? I had someone today suggest it was a lack of magnesium and calcium in the system.I'm interested in your answers.Aussie MargaretRTHR 1990 revised 2004

Nails are a reflection of health status, so it stands to reason that nutrients will improve them.. There have been a few members who reported having better nails on this program. Maybe try a Message Search and see if any come up. The best, Bee
Guest guest
, I can attest to the fact that our nails are far healthier on this diet; it seems like I have to cut them every couple days because they grow so fast now. I've had deeply ridged nails for years that grew slowly and broke easily, but not anymore. Jen --------------------------------------------------------------------------------\ -------------- Bee, have you, or has anyone on Bee's diet, experienced healthier nails as a result? I had long, healthy nails a few years ago, for the first time in my life, and now they're back to being very short, not healthy looking, and don't grow. Thanks. Guest guest
Oh gosh, I think I can help with that one. Soak them in ACV. I haven't found anything better yet. TTO after. Everyday, no fail. Fingernails Is anyone experiencing a problem with fingernails? ?? Mine are almost lifting from the nail bed. UGH!LD
Guest guest
Hi Frito, Thanks for the tip...I have some ACV and will try that. I think Bessie had a similar problem from reading one of her posts. What strange symptoms with this affliction. Glad you had a good giggle...on the humorous side too, I won't have to worry about a costume this year for Halloween! Guest guest
My fingernails started to come off about 2 weeks after i started taking colloidal silver. I stopped taking the silver about a month ago, and my nails are almost normal again. The nails were very soft and kept tearing off, but not the part that is attached to my skin. myrtle > > Is anyone experiencing a problem with fingernails??? Many with this or a related condition suffer serious mineral/vitamin deficiency. Even though many of my physical symptoms improved from Aug - Jan through lots of supplements and increasing the oxygen in my skin through Neoteric cream, it wasn't until I started using Opaline Solutions Oxycaps, Vibe liquid mineral supplement, and Freelife Himalayan Goji Juice did the problem with my nails reverse. There were a lot of other modifications I made, but I think those are key - along with a good colon cleanse, raw veggies, and probiotics. Guest guest
Hi Bessie, Thanks for filling me in on the fingernails. I take enough supplements to choke a horse but I have started the Opaline and that has helped a lot. I guess I need patience with all of this! I was also on Accutane and that is also known to affect the nails so I am not sure if this is a case of what happened first (chicken or egg analogy)- mites or meds?? Guest guest
Thanks Myrtle, It is strange how the nails get involved, too. I was also using colloidal silver so maybe I will stop with that as well. Lady Dee > > > > Is anyone experiencing a problem with fingernails??? Mine are almost > > lifting from the nail bed. Guest guest
I have the half moons on my thumbs and first two fingers, but none on my ring finger or pinky fingers. My nails have always been really soft and break easily. Not sure if there are ridges and stuff, I bite them a lot (trying not to) so not sure if they are a mess from my chopping or in general LOL

Guest guest
Dear Group: I have developed something in my fingernails. I have been doing some research and I found that it might be related to Vitamin B-12 deficiency, I found a recent study on this, because of a medicine that I take regularly, here: http://www.diversifiedhealthsolutions.com/health_tips/diabetes_drug_linked_to_vi\ tamin_deficiency.aspx Do you know of any other sources, that confirm this, is this right? Thanks, Benyto
